An important question to ask: How many total assignments have you done for them? A newbie might get a harder time, whereas an old-timer might get a faster pass because all their other FF places, they had turned in a receipt.@Liz36 wrote:
Ok I guess I'll submit. I took pictures of my food bag and drink because they usually tape it to either of those. My worry is that they messed up a few other things so I hope they don't try to fight it. I re-read the directions and they stated to ask for a receipt once if not given one so that's where they can fault me. Ugh. I do a lot of shops with this company so I'd hate to get a strike against me over a $6 Sonic shop...

Just a note about this that I observed while filling out my report today. When asked if I had a receipt, it was either a yes or no question. Also, there was a box that said to explain why you didn't have one. This is different from the sample report given in the guidelines. I clicked no just to see what would happen and it didn't have any further questions about it. This makes me think I would have been fine if I explained that I was not given one and there were several cars in line behind me so I was unable to go back and get one. Just FYI for others who might run into this situation.

I would have taken a picture of the location and menu board if I saw they had not given my receipt to me. You may get a variance and a pass because sometimes receipts get lost or are never given at all. You were correct not to drive back through the drive thru.
In your report, were you given a receipt? You answer no and plead your case.
