Several years ago there was a thing about that on the news. The way that one worked was that if you had a nice looking, well kept, newer car, they would pay to put ads on it. The fee wasn't bad but you had to regularly be driving your vehicle in congested areas and there was some minimum mileage you must put on the car per year. I don't remember what that was but it seems to me it was something like 40,000 miles per year. You were not allowed to take the signs off at any time and if you were caught without your signs, all payments were voided. Similarly your mileage was subject to audit. I expect with a little creativity in your search words you could Google and find a company that does it--assuming they are still in business. I do not know of anyone who tried it.
When I lived in CT, PA and FL, I constntly saw private ads in the paper by snowbirds, who wanted someone to drive their car down to FL (or back up north), so they could either fly down, or drive their motorhomes down to their winter homes, without having to tow their car. Under present conditions, with the world being such a scary place, I don't know if anybody does that anymore.
The pay was good, all expenses were paid and of course, they paid your airfare home.
More than 40 years ago when I was in college that was how we saw the country. At that time there was not a 25 year old minimum and we would hook up with "Drive Away" to deliver cars all over the country during term breaks. They covered gas and paid something like $100 (which was enough for a few nights in motels and meals at that time), but they didn't cover return airfare. Rather you tried to catch another "Drive Away" back or took the bus. smiling smiley
Hello! I am a new member of gypsybug.com and they pay 40 dollars-300 dollars a month for you to put your their sticker on the back of your car. The only thing is, once you sign up, you have to refer 3 members to start earning the lowest amount of 40 dollars per day. I would really like to start earning, as the extra money I earn will be put towards gas and perhaps a new car someday!!
Here is the information:
928-717-1308 reference code 2052

I have liked this site..give them a call and see if you can start advertising on the back of your car as well!
I too have heard of gypsybug.com, and did call them to find out more. I was confused on whether I had to pay them, or they paid me till I got the 3 referrals... just wondered how it is working out for you.. Thanks
I just checked out their website and the Terms and Conditions is pretty clear. [gypsybug.com] GypsyBug is a free classified ads website and if you place a Premium Ad ($19.95/month) and purchase the sticker (which is not small) for $19.95 from one of their associates and enroll 3 other people in the program and email them a photo of your vehicle with the sticker in place then . . . They will reimburse you the $19.95 Premium advertising fee,and pay you $20.05 per month as profit sharing.

So you have committed 3 other people to pay $19.95 each month to advertise on a free classified ad website in return for your $20.05, a reimbursed premium ad and the joy of being a rolling billboard.

As for the original post. I found a possible track for you at [www.fraudguard.biz] What they have done is reviewed a number of the "deals" out there which are apparently in many cases little more than grab your money and run telling you how to get a free car. They did come up with three assistance providers, all of whom offer a money back guarantee, to help you find available advertising vehicles in your area.

I just wanted to post and say that I got my first paypal check from gypsy bug for 40 dollars. I haven't even put the sticker in my car yet because I wanted to call and clarify a few other things. There is no advertising requirement. I paid the 19.95 to join and 3 other people joined other me. I have been very pleased.
You are lucky and may be living on borrowed time because your agreement on their site specifically states:

"I understand that I must be a premium advertiser in order to participate in the GypsyBug.com window sticker program. GypsyBug.com will pay me $19.95 each and every month to cover the cost of my premium advertising as long as I show that I am promoting GypsyBug.com as agreed. Without the completion of providing proof of compliance, it is understood that I am simply a premium advertiser at my expense."
