This guy offered to send me all of their recipe books via email. He specifically said that he could get fired for it.
Something like that really could be part of the shtick only because I doubt they make much money off the cookbooks. It seems both of mine were going to throw in one or more.

Those guys actually remind me of the perfect caricature of a used car salesman. My first ignored me for over 20 minutes while talking to every man who came within five feet of the display. My interest was in the most expensive grill yet he kept trying to sell me one of the cheapest. Next are the, "Just for you," offers along with only having one left no matter how many boxes are stacked around them.

I was actually offered the recipe books, grill cover, $100 additionally off, and two boxes of girl scout cookies with one of my Traeger shops. Every offer is a part of their shtick, expect the girl scout cookies.
I am like the least sellable person ever and I totally wanted one of those grills.

Those are pretty cool. I was ignored by the rep for quite a while, but once he got a clue and started talking, he was pretty good.
