Fast Food Shops and Restaurant shop

Can someone tell me other than McDonalds and Five Guys, since I can not work for the company that does them for reasons they will not say despite doing about 300 shops for them in the past, can anyone confirm if places like Burger King, Wendy's, Subway, and the Olive Garden are mystery shopped and if you know what the company is that performs them?

Please note that I AM NOT expecting forum members to tell me the name of the company that does service those accounts in order to respect your IC confidential agreements, however I have tried signing up for about 8 companies and have been unsuccessful in finding any company that does those places. I simply would like to know whether or not shoppers are aware that a company does them or if they are handled internally.

So if anyone could simply confirm whether you know for 100% certain that these places are shopped, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

These are not routinely shopped like the McDonalds and Five Guys to the best of my knowledge. I have shopped BK on behalf of a soda manufacturer, Subway gets runs of shops--especially with new programs--but I haven't seen them in relation to the new breakfast promotion, I've only seen Wendy's with a soda promotion that I didn't do, I believe Olive Garden is currently on hiatus--I sure haven't seen them in a long time.

But if you are looking actual fast food, Carl's and Carl's Jr I believe are shopped (there are none in my area but I think I remember seeing them). Hardee's was shopped on an irregular basis by a company I no longer work with.
Yeah, I know which company does Carl's Jr. as I lived in California and used that company there, and still am with that company now that I am on the East Coast, for other jobs.

So many more jobs available on the West Coast. A shame there aren't more on the East Coast.

Do you know or can you tell me if a regular mystery shop program is in effect for Burger King or is it just seasonal?

Thanks for your help.
I have only done BK for special shops done on behalf of the soda company. I have not seen any systematic shops of BK itself.
I have done the travel center Subway a few times. I used to get BK all the time, but it never worked with my schedule. I have been seeing Dairy Queen a lot lately but never in my city. I just did a Zaxabys for the same company I do Shoney's for.
I have done regular (non-travel center) Subway shops around here. They used to be quite regular now they seem more sporadic.
In my area I have seen the above shopped and have indeed done those shops myself. There are companies that have them.

I am doing a BK shop later today, it doesn't appear to be thru the soda company. I love the scheduling guidelines, too- go anytime it's open. Will report later on how the report was and on getting paid.

I also do In-and-Out, Carl's Jr, and Sonic, but I try to keep it to a minimum as it's so bad for me!

Subway shows up in the mid-Atlantic region once a year, usually in April, always with the same MSC. I see Sonic often, but they are too far away for me to consider. I recently saw Church's Fried Chicken, but again too far away.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
mystikwizard try emailing that company. They removed me in 2009 after completing shops up until may 2009. I emailed this year out of curiosity and they told me that I did not submit receipt/CPIs. I responded, "How is it that I got paid then?" They reinstated me and I get calls begging me to do their shops now.
I do MD, Subway, Hardees, Wendys, Sonic almost every month. Quit doing Sonic in my area, because the pay was too low. Quit doing the GS shop in my area, because the pay went from $12 to $5 and you have to make a $1.00 purchase. Thanks Obama:-)
I guess I fail to see what Obama has to do with the prices a MS firm pays you.

Interesting how a new President gets all the blame and flak for the situation that existed at the time of his election.
Funny, we were talking about low fees and absurd shops 5 years ago as well . . . how much lower can it go into the ground???
I think right now the industry is definitely taking advantage of the extreme unemployment rate that is present in many places, as far as FF shops go.

It's my understanding that many slip under the radar of the IRS and take the FF shops while collecting unemployment, without reporting that income. How much McD, Subway, Hardees, Wendys & Sonic does one have to eat before generating a 1099 at the new rates? We should be thankful that Obama is doing something to make sure we have health care available for those that do.....

The fact that fine dining and upscale hotel shops have not dropped their rates since I started doing them is more evidence of this. To attract those that have the credit or cash to do those evaluations, you can't be taking advantage of their financial desperation.
Felt like I was back on the "old" forum for a minute...thanks Obama, poor guy gets blamed for everything....he inherited the county's condition from the previous president, so, thanks, George W......just kidding. This has never been nor will ever be an industry that pays fair.

Live consciously....
Thanks, at least someone sees it. According to them, the oil spill in the Gulf is his fault also.

Just FYI. I just find out one of my assignment for today is Subway on travel center, and I did not realize that the reimbursement is lower than the cheapest combo I can buy.

Its totally my fault that I did not read the description close enough, but this really sucks! Its my first assignment for this client, and will be the last...
Ouch. I haven't done any of those lately but as long as I didn't get upsold and have to take it I was generally okay. Definitely is a cheap shop, though.
Sequoia, I'm not sure if the Subways in your area charge more, but I thought the reimbursement for those was $7.50. I can always get a combo for around $6.00
It depends on the company/format in which they are being done. The ones around me have a half sub combo.
Subway breakfasts are shopped here in Wisconsin; also Cousin's subs and Hardees, 3 diff companies for those three. have not seen subway for lunch, quiznos I have seen but on other side of the state from me, have not seen Burger King yet or Taco Bell but Taco Johns, but not near me, just in my state.
