Have you done the new mystery shop/mini audit lunch at a hospital?

The MSC is asking for an experienced shopper or a shopper with auditing experience. Has anyone done these $25 shops? How in-depth are they? I'm considering taking one near me but I've heard how bad the $20 hotel audits for a different company were. Wondering if I should bite.

I saw that one but passed. I wasn't sure if the meal itself was worth it. Hospital cafeteria food not for me.
I might take one at a hospital near me. The food service there is subcontracted to Marriot. Most hospitals now are subcontracting food service to reduce costs.

Stepping foot in a hospital, never mind eating their food, is a sure-fire way to end up in the hospital!
I did one about 10 years ago. It was a lot of work for $25. The food was ok not great.
I have done a cafeteria one. But $25 bucks for the shop, trust me, you are going to work for it! tongue sticking out smiley
I am doing a hospital cafeteria shop Mon. 4/11, so I will be able to tell you about it! Signed, Night Owl at 11:52 pm
I try to do many different types of shops. Mainly because different strokes for different folks. Do at least one hospital/cafeteria and see if you like it. What could it hurt. There was a shop many bashed on this forum ( I was a lurker on the forum for a long time before I joined). I tried the shop and loved it. It was just a fit for me personally. Try it. What do you have to lose. If you hate it, you just know you won't apply for the next one.
I'd do it if the hospital near me had one. I spent many many hours in the hospital. A mystery shop could have been a good diversion
yea, I did one... except there was no cafe/cafeteria at the location, so it was just a lot of N/A's on my report. can't say I was too broken up about it.
I can tell you about my experience communicating about these. I asked for a copy of the guidelines and a listing of the required pictures. It was not possible to get guidelines or a picture list without first committing to the shop. The fee is nice, but I can knock out a couple of cheap stations and do better money wise. I was interested because they had one in the nearest town to me, but not that interested.

I have a hospital cafeteria right downstairs because I work in a hospital. And yes the food is "catered" or as we say, warmed up by Sodexo/Marriott. It is actually quite a bit better in some ways than it used to be but in other ways it is worse. People used to come from miles around for the fried chicken and mac and cheese at our cafeteria,.I dont think people come from anywhere further away then upstairs now. But there is a bit more variety, it costs more too. But all the same if you eat anywhere on a regular basis you can get tired of it quickly even if it is great.
I wish I could get that job and get a "free" lunch close to my desk.
