i'm looking for a recommendation for Android App

I recently switched back to an Android phone. While using my iPhone I had a great time stamp app for my photos - Time Stamp It. Unfortunately, it appears that it is not available for the Android phones. I've downloaded two Android apps - both which were total crap. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good Android app. I'm not against paying a fee for an App as long as it works and can time stamp multiple pictures at once.

I have been using Open Camera. It is free, and works very well. It has other capabilities beyond the date and time stamp, but the default it just a date and time stamp.

Thanks for the info Myst. Do you have to use their camera or can you simply time stamp pictures that you've already taken via your cell phone camera?

You have to use the Open Camera app to take the photograph. I do not know of any app which will put the time and date onto an existing photograph. The information is in the meta-data, but apparently there is no impetus for anyone to write an app which takes the meta-data and modifies an existing image. Since meta-data can be edited, maybe that is a good thing.

Which Android do you have?

I have a Samsung Galaxy. For my phone, I go into the settings for the camera and set the "Location Tag" to on. This will set the location and time for the pictures I take.

Honny...I have a Galaxy S7. I see the location option, but it doesn't appear to place a time stamp on the picture itself. It is embedded right? I can't believe the only app that does this is for Apple only. But, until I find a better option I will use the location setting and just be sure I only use it when on a shop. The location setting is very scary if the wrong person gets a hold of it.
Val, open the picture and tap the three dots, then "More Info." You will see the date and time stamp.

And yes, the location option is scary. But that's the price we pay for modern technology. All of the apps we download track us, especially the Android/Google apps. BlackBerry at least gave you the option to opt out.

I have contacted the person/company that created the app for the iOS. I'm hoping they plan to write the same app for android. At this point I may continue using the Apple phone for route shopping conv stores. That way I can visually place the correct pictures to the report. When you do 10 shops that are alike it can get confusing as all the pictures look similar since the stores are modeled after each other. I like to also have the visible time stamp as proof that I was on the property the required time. The editor isn't likely to go out of their way to see when the picture was taken, assuming they have the know how to begin with. This particular editor has accused me falsely in the past of using a picture from a different location. I was able to prove she was in error. The time stamp avoids further accusations. Thanks for the advice everyone. It doesn't appear what I am looking for has been written for android, yet.
COMystery - if you have any luck locating an app for the android, please let me know. I've been searching for the same thing. Sorry to have jumped in on your OP. I got excited thinking there may be a solution.
I use a program called "APD Timestamp," to place a date and TimeStamp on my photos for Mystery Shopping. It is available on the Play Store.

Edited because I just realized you were looking for an app that can TimeStamp multiple photos. APD is only one at a time.
