The Texas Roadhouse Grill report

I remember there being little narrative for the shop. It seems like it has changed and now requires the same amount of narrative as other restaurant shops.

*Edit* Never mind, I think I had it confused with another shop. smiling smiley

Actually, I think you were correct. I just did one of those shops. I accepted it because the previous one I did had only on easy narrative to write. It was a last minute shop and I got the assignment only a few hours before the shop was due. I was shocked when I reviewed the survey form and found all the additional narratives. It was too close to cancel so I did the shop anyway but I doubt if I will do the shop again. There is no pay and the reimbursement did not even cover the cost of the meals for my wife and me.
I myself would give that shop one more try and if I thought it was not worth it anymore, because of more heavier narratives, then I might not take anymore of them. I love their food though (one of my fav shops) and enjoy how well I am treated at this friendly place. smiling smiley
I just did one for my second shop. It wZ a sit at the bar one. It had like 4 narratives but they only required a few sentences each. I did mine in 15 minutes and got a 10
Certainly the narrative on these is still pretty small and when we did one this month we had a nice meal, met the requirements and with required tip did not exceed the reimbursement. You can't order of the top of the menu, but you don't need to go to the cheapest either. But prices may differ in different areas.

The "sit at the bar" shop is an easier report than the dining room shop, there are fewer things to keep track of. I enjoy these shops, too.
I thought that sitting there for an entire hour was the hardest part, when the food comes within 15 minutes or so. The report was easy though. I got 10/10.

Shopping & Auditing Western Colorado, North Denver, the Central Rockies ~~~ and all stops leading to Aspen & Vail.

When I do belly up at the bar, I order the shrimp dinner and it's about $14... plus the drink. smiling smiley
BUT if I have to pay for my own steak I prefer going to Outback anymore as the acoustics are quieter and you can actually hear the conversation. On Wednesday they have a great Wednesday menu that has 3 courses and starts at about 12/13 bucks.
