Bizarre Report

I found a new MSC here. There was a high paying shop near me, so I signed up for it. The guidelines were straightforward, and the shop was simple and informative. However, the report was done on a third party survey site!

I have never experienced that before. On top of that, there was a follow up. When I went to submit the details, the shop was no longer on my board. The scheduler had to reopen it. I went back to the survey, and had to do everything from scratch. It wasn't a heavy narrative, so that was no problem. I just never had a shop report done on a survey. Is that the wave of the future?

ETA: I'm not giving the name of the MSC or the details of the shop because the scheduler is on this board.

Honny Bunny, 3rd party surveys for the sake of reporting aren't really anything new. It all depends on the MSC's client division. Case in point, there is one MSC that contracts with scheduler XYZ, who just happens to upload surveys + videos to MarketForce. One scheduler, two MSCs, one report, and one video. The same can also be said when working for Nevada-based MSCs. Client ABC can be based in CA, while the MSC (based in Texas) has a shopper doing a Nevada MSC's brief survey, who in turn has to send the video + second report to the MSC based in Texas.

I wouldn't really worry about if the survey is 3rd party or not. If your scheduler says that the guidelines from the client are valid and that you will be paid by the scheduler's MSC that they are affiliated with, then you should be fine.
Thanks Eric!

I was surprised more than anything, but your explanation put everything in perspective.
