Tobacco shops sitting on board for a long time... worth it?

There are half a dozen or so tobacco audits sitting on a shop board in my area. It specifies to be between 18 & 26 so they'll more than likely card you. I'm 27... and these shops have been sitting and sitting... think a scheduler would work with me or not worth my time to try emailing and seeing? I don't believe I have a photo on file with this particular company, but I could send them a few. I have a baby face, which doesn't help the true age factor... anyone does these shops over the age of 26 with luck from a scheduler?

There's other MSCs and clients with different age limits. I did some that were up to 29 last year. I tried to get another one just a month or two after I had turned 30, but the MSC said the client had very strict age requirements and they do not bend on them.

It certainly can't hurt to ask the MSC; they may have more flexibility than the one I experienced. Either way, keep looking around and you'll probably find some that you are still within the age range.

Shopping central Arizona.
Which company? These are typically very, very simple. If you can manage to increase the fee, then that in itself makes it worth it.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
couldn't give away the company but it's one of the top 10 in my area. They've worked with me before on other things... for instance a couple gas stations were shut down and they went ahead and paid me my fee for the photos of the shut down station!

If I had a baby face and were age 27-28... I would keep calling them. If you can pass for a young person, then you can do some very lucrative shops! I see the average pay on those is $35 + reimbursement so if you do 10 of those.. that would be great!
Yes!!!! That's what I'm thinking. I could get a route if they would assign it. It's been sitting there quite a while just building up bonus moohlah.

27 here as well... I pass off of a sweet baby face - easy to "take advantage of" (But I am anything but). Especially when I have a fresh shave! grinning smiley

I'd call and do it. Doesn't hurt to ask.
A fresh shave can make all the difference! My husband is 30.. .if he shaves his face, we get carded for everything -_- even the movies!

It seems like the shops would be worth it. I figure the shops sit on the board so long because most shoppers do not fit the age requirement.

That's my guess. When I go in on revealed (sometimes I suck it up and do em) they are always shocked and floored that I'm the secret shopper! I look like a high school kid driving through to grab a bite to eat. When I did some of the photo audits for a fast food place, I had to present letters and ID at each of them. Fortunately, the employees were super nice but I could tell they were shocked. Even with makeup, I get funny looks. Now.. .when I gotta do things like a clothing store, those are fun!
