Oh, yes. I do Alta 360 convenience stores but they are not gas stations...they are lottery scenario with a small food or drink purchase and they don't pay very much. But, I have won small amounts of money from the lottery tickets and Alta will bonus hard to fill locations near the deadline.
This shop is not from ALC. ALC only has menu audit shops in my area. The pay is less than $10.@HonnyBrown wrote:
Fenicia, ACL's bonus is small, much less than $8. I request it so I'm not working for gas and coffee.

You can keep the hero citation but I would be more than happy to clink beer mugs with you.@sojo917 wrote:

I have completed a gas station shop recently and wanted to hear if some of you had experienced silimiar situations before.
The shop was a up to $20 gas reimbursement plus $6 in store purchase and the MSC wanted both charges on the same receipt. I arrived at the gas station and was told they only accept cash because their debit and credit system was down. I only had some coins in my car for a few dollars. I did not know where to find a nearby ATM machine for cash because I was not familiar with that area. The gas station was far away from where I live. I only accepted the shop because I had an appointment booked near the shop. So I figured coming back another day to do the shop would not work for me. I continued the shop using the limited amount of cash I had and evaluated everything according to the shop guidelines. I immediately sent an email to the scheduler explaining the situation but did not receive a reply. I just found out the MSC is only going to reimburse me $2 for my gas. I emailed the scheduler again and was told they would only reimburse what I paid for.
I am upset about the pay and the scheduler's reply. I felt I deserve the full reimbursement because the payment situation at the gas station was not caused by me and was out of my control. I have done hundreds of gas station shops for other MSCs and I have had similar situations happened in the past. However everytime I was paid the full amount by other MSCs, the amount I agreed to perform the shop when I applied. One time I did not have any cash with me therefore I could not even get a receipt to prove the shop, but the MSC accepted my explaination and still paid me.
I would love to get some advise about what actions should I take from here.
Thanks in advance.

I think the expectation that you would be reimbursed for something you did not purchase to be ridiculous! Are you a new shopper? If you are, then you have learned a basic lesson. I have never heard of anyone getting reimbursed for money they did not put out. I had a lunch shop last week, that reimburses up to $40.00 for lunch. The bill was $45.75. I have no expectation that the MSC is going to pay me the additional $5.75. Nope that comes out of my pocket - not bad for lunch for two.

I think your lunch scenario is very different from my gas station situation. I often spent over the maximum reimbursement amount for my restaurant shops and have never expected to be reimbursed for say the $5.75 extra. Consider your $40 lunch shop is a reimbursement only shop and no report fee. You went to the casual restaurant on the assigned date and was told their kitchen grill was down and all they could sale you was coffee for $2 a cup. The restaurant was out of town for you and drving back another day was not a profitable option. So you bought a cup of coffee and had conversations with staff members and evaluated the restroom. Once you get home, would you fill out the 100 question report for $2 reimbursement, or would you email your scheduler trying to negotiate a higher pay? Or would you buy 20 cups of coffee to get $40 full reimbursement?

Isn't 14 + 15 = 29? Or is that just the old math?
