BJ's Restaurant shops

For those who have thought about doing those BJ's restaurant shops, there is now a coupon to redeem on the BJ's website for $10.00 off on food purchases over $35.00. I don't know if you can use the coupon on your shop or not.

YES - you can use the coupon on the shop. You cannot use your premier points for $5 or $10 off, but you CAN use coupons. I use one every time I do the shop. I love these shops!
Are the BJ Shops easy? I often see schedulers sending out urgent messages asking for help so was not sure if this was because no one wants them?

The shops are easy, redundant and delicious!

Yeah, unfortunately, I found out about the coupons after I completed my shop. Darn. There is always next month. Also, the server will ask you if you would like to donate $1.00 for this month for the No Child Goes Hungry campaign and receive a $10 off coupon for food purchases over $35.00 on your next visit. The reports are very easy to fill out compared to some other restaurant shop reports.
These shops are easy! They used to be with another msc that involved more work. I was pleasantly surprised how easy this new report is. And their pizza is really yummy, for a chain restaurant.
I was surprised that report has no questions about the quality of the food. You would think they would want to know. I did work in some comments in the short narrative sections.

The reports used to be redundant. It was easy to copy and paste narratives!

Many MS companies will run the reports through anti plagiarism software and all that cut and paste will show up in red when they edit it. Too much cut and paste will make your services no longer needed for that MSC.

I always edit my sentence structure, even if it was the same bartender and they provided the same exact dining experience when describing the experience. There is always something that is fresh in each shop that can be a positive or negative point.

True. But how many ways can a shopper describe the temperature of a food served? I've done over 100 BJ shops and the reports have always been a 9 or a 10.

I tried to apply for a couple of them for October. One application was registered but my second, at a different location, was not. I got a message that I didn't fit the age range. I'm guessing there is a different scenario for some of them, probably a test of ID checking for alcohol.

Mine is strickley a diner shop, no alcohol required. I have done the bar audits where you have to drink, but not on this one. I wouldn't think their'd be an age range for dinner. I'e only been allowed to do one a month.

Dont know what the limit is but i applied for three this round and got all three. Last round I got both I applied for.
I applied for two and got one. They have changed the food ordering requirement which is nice.
I would like also to add that when one of my adult kids was my guest, we are usually seated at a table. When you have two guests, you are usually seated at a nice booth.
I sent the MSC this question but no one responded. The new description says order 1entree, 1 app or desert, and 1 drink. It also says to follow the guidelines, which still say to order both and app and desert. Which is correct?

My description says:
You will need to order the following:
o 1 Entrée(Sandwiches/Burgers/Specialty Salads/Specialty Entrees/Pasta/Pizza/Steaks)
o 1 Additional menu item - can be any item (appetizer, dessert, entree, etc)
o 1 Beverage (non-alcoholic or alcoholic). Must be a chargeable beverage.

The guidelines for my shop have been updated and match the description.

I did my most recent shop earlier this month, and I ordered two entrees and one beer and my shop was accepted.
