I have done 2 of the drone shops. The photos are indeed easy to take right in front of the salesperson. Very little narrative. But only worth it if you are driving within a mile of the store anyway.

I did a tobacco shop for this company. The client must have knew something shady was up. My shop paid $20 plus a $4 reimbursement on a pack of smokes. I don't smoke, but cigarettes here are $4-$6 a pack here so no real loss there. Anyway, I arrived to find a closed store. Store associates were lurking out back with "customers" in a van. On associate saw me try to open the door and as I walked away, slipped a "closed" sign in the door. As I went to get my camera, the closed sign suddenly disappeared. It was a shady ordeal, but Alta paid me. I received $20, no reimbursement of course, but I suppose the client knew something was up and had an agent go out. They've always done right by me.

Another hefty bonus has occurred after a week. The drones shops are $10. By the time the holidays roll around they may be up to maybe $15 and that is by Thanksgviviing,

The shop just went up to $10 and a $7 bonus for all or you that loved doing this job for nothing.....hahaha. I will wait like I do for the bonuses and for the shop pay to go up. I find if I don't have to desperately jump on every low paying job, I can work far less for much more money. Sorry even if mystery shopping is a "luxury" as someone put it....I have more luxurious things to do with my time.

I am offering a $7 BONUS on ALL shops taking the shops to $17 each.

@lamol you might want to rethink your strategy. The $10 shops never hit the boards in my area. They were gone at $8 and $9. They're easy money. If you're waiting for a bonus, you're waiting for Godot.

@lamol, take ChrisCooper's advice about rethinking your strategy. Yes, they are totally easy money. I was able to perform the drone shop, a SKU check and a particular manufacturer of home appliances shop all during the same visit at the same Big Box store. No extra mileage or wear and tear on my vehicle. I increased my daily step count by walking from department to department. I avoided the thunderstorm that was outside during my visit. Oh ya, I made $47 in less than an hour for all three shops. Two of the reports were completed at the store or in my car before leaving the parking lot. Win, win, win for me.

I get the pizza shops for $30 sometimes. Two shops the same day only thing is it is a 40 mile trip for just the two stops, but I have done them getting a haircut, three cell phone shops, and two different grocery stores. I was going to do the drone shop but I missed it by about 30 minutes.

On Monday, the drones shops were $15, now they are $25. Too bad the ones in my area was taken at $7.

Some of their gas stations are $35 now! They were $4. A Drone did the Drones for $7.

The last 10 shops are on the board. They are now $30. It looks like they are going up, up, and up. Tomorrow is the last day. Maybe tomorrow they will be $75. Aaaaaaaahhhhh to be in the states of MI, CA, TN, UT, NE ..................all within an hour of each other.

Where is my jet when I need it
