2nd Coyle question for the week

I've applied for several phone shops and a dinner.

How late in the day on a request date has anyone received shop acceptance confirmation?

The reason I ask is that I'm routing work over 500 miles this weekend, and I am putting together my trip plan today.

I want my first job for Coyle to go as well as possible, so I don't have anything else scheduled for that evening just in case.

Thanks you in advance!

If it's your first job for Coyle, I would not plan on getting it. They are overwhelmed from what I gather. I wouldn't even plan on an email repsonse at this point unless you have a job assigned.
I apply for things well in advance and get a few Coyle shops here and there.

I hope you get it but I would not count on it.

Often my Coyle jobs are assigned through a scheduling service, Coast to Coast Scheduling, even though I applied through Coyle.

To be fair, I applied for 3 Coyle restaurants one day for Coyle and got one of them (first time I had every applied for a Coyle assignment). I was 20 years old at the time and in an area with a lot of shoppers as well.

So there is a chance, I wouldn't 100% count myself out of getting it.

If you are worried about it not working with your route just cancel your application.
I put in three applications in May and June for shops due at the end of October. All three of those applications are still in my inbox awaiting someone to assign them to me or someone else... I've written in to see if I could get them by sending a nice little nudge and hello letting someone know I'm a serious shopper...but they're still sitting there and no one has been assigned yet. I don't know if they're busy or just not ready to let me do hotel shops, but I was looking forward to getting my first hotel shop through them. Alas...

How many restaurants have you done with them? I've seen 3-6 restaurants are needed before they'll even consider you for a hotel, and even then if another shopper has done hotels with them in the past, they would get it over you.
Applying for assignments months in advance is standard for Coyle. Just last week I was called about a bar shop that they needed the next day, but had failed to ever assign it to me despite my having applied for it months before. I said yes, and the scheduler said to count on it. It was never scheduled to me. I called twice and emailed six times in two days regarding their "urgent" request. Never heard from anyone. They are quite unstable and unprofessional in regard to responding to emails, 'nudges', phone calls etc...even when they ask you for urgent help. ??????
For a while in NYC I saw them setting up restaurants 2 or even 3 months in advance, and I applied for a bucketload and got none (after reliably doing 3-6 restaurants per month for them). I don't know what's going on there but I don't like it.
