@johnb974, did the guidelines mention anything about waiting for 20 minutes for the Mobile Rep to show up? If the Mobile Rep is still not there or not available, you get POV (usually a small purchase or a picture), submit your report and get paid. You might want to try other MSCs, such as Second to None and GfK (not a ICA violation because the big box store is not the client). There are probably many other MSCs who will pay if the target doesn't show up--just make sure you get the POV.

I have had this happen as well at Target and the other stores like warehouse clubs and Wal-mart. From what I remember, I did the iinteraction with the electronics employee that was on hand or waited the allotted time. I made my purchase (if appliacable) and reported the shop. I have always been paid.

Fifteen shops in one day? Wow! I MS part-time and rarely average that many in a month.

If you really want to know when the Target Mobile employees will be there, you can call the Target store, ask for electronics and ask them. They will tell you.

The first time I went to the store, at 10 am, I asked what time the Mobile employees come in. I was told around 11:30 am. The next week I went back at 12:15 PM and was told around 1 PM. Unfortunately I'm only in this area once a week and only during the morning.

My inquiring mind would like to know: What are the posted hours for the department? Are these hours available online or if you call? If the guidelines require a 20 minute grace period, and you stated you have other same store shops, exactly why couldn't you check back between or after the other two quick assignments to satisfy the 20 minutes and successfully finish the shop?
And please, no more lame excuses or disparaging remarks. Blame shifting is not a positive quality.

I will not do any shop where the employee's schedule can change day to day. I have shown up at a couple of these shops where the employee wasn't even there at their scheduled time. Unless I'm assured of getting paid for being there at a certain time.

Well, for one thing, they are not Target employees. It is a merchandising job I have gotten the Emails about the positions.
