Question for Harris Teeter Shoppers

Do they offer Meal Deals on a regular basis? Can these be purchased for the Carry Out shop?

I haven't done one in a while but have purchased the Meal Deal as part of checking that section. I am pretty sure you can spend as much as you want, the small reimbursement and a successful shop though is dependent on following the guidelines.

This is my first time doing this shop. The scenario is a carry out, and there aren't any buying requirements for the $10 reimbursement.

The Meal Deal is fresh sausage (the kind in the chub), a dozen eggs, frozen pancakes, syrup and k-cups for $7.99. The coffee alone costs $7.99.

This is also my first time shopping in this market, so I'm not familiar with their ads and specials.

From what I remember, it is very important to visit the required areas and make the required observations and interactions. There used to be a requirement of purchasing at least five different items, sometimes a requirement to purchase a particular type of item as well.

They offer the meal deals on a regular basis. I have purchased them in the past and had no issues with the shop. Each item in the meal deal counts as one separate item towards your required purchase total. For the carryout shop, I believe you must buy at least 15 items to be valid.

Good luck and enjoy your shop!

I didn't do the shop. I had the Carry Out scenario, but I read the guidelines for something else. The Carry Out scenario, I had to pretend to be disabled, which I won't do.

The fee for the guidelines that I did read was $5 and required a purchase of 5 items. Is that possible anywhere but Aldi?!

The Carry Out section of the guidelines does not say anything about being disabled. You might want to go back and reread what it says.

The base fee starts at $9 in my area, it used to be $5 reimbursement plus a small fee. The Carry Out is $10 LOL.

I've seen the fee go up as the shops sit. Unfortunately the local ones do not sit like they used to.

I'm not naming the scenarios correctly. The one that I was supposed to do required a disability, a senior citizen or kid and had a $10 reimbursement for 15 items that had to go in three bags.

It's not a store that I shop at, so I have no reason to go.

It doesn't say "disability." I am not going to copy the information here, it would be a violation of our agreement with the MSC. Having a physical compromise is not a disability. That word draws strong images in people's minds thus why the MSC did not use that word.

Let's agree that the scenarios they require limits the shop to a small subset of the shopper pool.

No, the guidelines do not say disability, but you knew what I meant, so the word served its purpose.
