Note to self: Don't drink whisky before filling out reports. grinning smileygrinning smileygrinning smileygrinning smileygrinning smiley

My brother had a couple fireball nips laying around so I drank a couple. Then I proceeded to fill out a couple mystery shop reports and man, I was struggling with the narratives. I hope they sound coherent. Can you guys handle writing reports while a little intoxicated?

Yes I have had a few glasses of wine while filling out reports. What I found is the reports go a lot slower but it is not so boring.
Yeah...I can handle them on wine. Liquor, not so much. It it's a 24 hour deadline I do some of the report the night before and look it over in the morning. Many times there have been multiple changes.
I don't drink. If I did, I would not drink and write. My writing is hazardous enough already! grinning smiley

DavePi, I think you need to drink more to get your tolerance up.

I find that I do much better with my reports if I'm downing a four shot latte.... At the least, my typing speed increases significantly.....

Long story short: I no longer do shops which require me to drink alcohol. Some people enjoy them, though. All metabolisms are different.
Doing loss protection I have a tall Vodka and tonic, having to have two, I have to eat...by the time I get home it's worn off and I have tea doing my reports.

My body's pretty sensitive to alcohol. If I have even 1 drink, it not only makes the shop more difficult to complete, but I'm still feeling the effects for the next 12 hours or so.

I have an "allergy" to rum (took me forever to narrow it down, and I like rum and coke), where I feel sore and basically hung over immediately after 1 drink. I can then drink something else, and I'm fine. Although, I don't get black out drunk or fully hung over.

I've never seen any that required drinking. Even the late night bar assessment, where I order 2 highballs, I don't have to drink them, and they have directions on how to ditch the drink.

I picked up a bottle of William Larue Weller, $100 retail. Afraid to open it but it will make a great gift.

I would not, could not fill out any forms with alcohol in my body. I have a few glasses of wine after 5 Pm, I just watch TV and veg.
