Dear MSC Editors

[rant]
Do not complain that I didn't provide enough detail in a narrative when you limit me to 800 characters in it. 1400 characters was my condensed version with every detail I could have given you that would have been useful for the report.

Don't tell me that I didn't follow the guidelines when you did not read my report in its entirety.

Don't give me a rating of 8/10 because you had to contact me. See above!

Don't give me a 9/10 with the only comment being "Great report!"

Doing what I can to enhance the life of my family! I LOVE what I do smiling smiley
DO complement me for a report where I obviously went well above the minimum requirements. (Hooray for Spies in Disguise, AM, and RCMS.)

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
Hooray for Mercantile when they not only accepted a true report on very bad service (1st. time) including not checking rewards card, not showing what drinks are available, explaining anything, my sending in wrong receipt, which they wrote me and I re-sent correct receipt. . They accepted report without question and wrote me a thank you for a job well they gave me a score of 10......top this, i dare you...smiling smiley

Edited to add: After 10 years with this company, and getting all 10's...I guess they said, let's give her a pass.

Don't hold me accountable because GeoVerify put me at 0.11 miles from the location. What am I supposed to do about that?

Have a glass of wine..sorry, couldn't help it...smiling smiley

Take a screenshot and send it to the scheduler with a n explanation. I have one town where Geo Verify will always say I am five miles away
I have an editor at one MSC that I can never please. The last note said: "Please don't state how you feel." Really? The question on the report asked, "How did this make you feel?" ----- LOL!
Don't e-mail me asking for information that wasn't asked for in the report form. Just fix the report form if you know it's a problem.

did you explain to them or did you know that 0.11 miles is the difference between the street and the front door. You have to remind them that there is a percentage of +/- with GeoVerify figures, especially with Mall or Shopping Center Locations. I do several Truck Stop locations and it all depends on where the original Geo Locator placed the exact location, you will never hit the location 100%, and even 90% is highly unlikely.
I have never had an issue with the GeoVerify on my reports, are you sure that is what cost your scores?

Shopping Southern Georgia, Valdosta, Waycross, Quitman, Thomasville and North Central Florida I-10 & I-75.
Do not tell me to put all of my punctuation inside the quotation marks! That's not the rule in all cases. And stop marking me down for using correct grammar! Please.

There's an editor who marks me down on grammar and punctuation errors, but when I re-read my reports as submitted, there aren't any. One editor for this company always gives me 10s (sometimes when I don't deserve them); the other one always marks me down on non-existent grammar mistakes.

Editors, I don't mind being dinged for mistakes that I make. But I do mind being dinged for mistakes that I didn't make!

I don't know if other editors/schedulers read these threads, but I always try to. I don't want to be THAT editor/scheduler. :p

Thank you, Christine! I, and I'm sure other shoppers, truly appreciate that you read these threads! I think most of us welcome constructive and warranted feedback. But it's frustrating to have done something correctly and to be told that you didn't! smiling smiley

Don't shred my narrative to pieces, rewrite it, and give me a 9/10 rating.

KW, that was the only critique for this shop. I was deep inside the store when I did GV.

When the editor gave me that feedback, I asked her what I was supposed to do about it. She told me to contact GV.

Really?
