USPS Box Shop Shipping Buddy in Zone 2

Hello!
I am looking for a shipping partner in Zone 2 from my location (10010).

I think it would be great to be able to ship each other stuff we like/need. I'm thinking along the lines of nice items from TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc... but still inexpensive.

So, ideally a female in an urban area (Philadelphia!) would be ideal due to the availability of items. It would be great if we had similar taste so there would be no explaining involved.

I also chose zone 2 so the rate would be cheaper if sending more weight.

Sorry, if this is too specific. Again, it's ideal so if I don't get that I'm open to other situations.

Thanks!

I have a shipping buddy and we literally just ship each other the same item back and forth or the same type of item that is free--rocks grinning smiley I know this is silly, but we're in it for the moohlah smiling smiley I also ship canned food to different places too but when I'm in need of a shop being done quickly, I can grab one of our go to 1.2-1.5lb rocks and put in a box to send to her. grinning smiley

I shipped poly liners with blank paper in them, to my daughter. She retains them till I next see her. I then repackage and ship to her again. Luckily, she is near but in a different city all together.

I wondered about the canned goods if the post office considers them liquid or not. My boyfriend lives in another city so I will ship boxes to him (really myself!) and put bags of beans, rice, cake/brownie/cookie mixes, or anything else that looks good. The bags of beans and rice are good as they are usually one pound apiece. So no weighing needed as I will stuff with wadded up newspaper to fill it up the rest of the way. If I shop the post office in his city, I will then send a box back to myself at my house. He thinks it is funny to get a package in the mail insured and sent priority with only a bag of beans.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
I'm a dude, but I'd be glad to help out a fellow shopper on here. 80xxx is my zip... basically the Denver area smiling smiley

Thanks for all the replies!
I'm aware that people just stuff the boxes for weight. Personally, I've only used the box shops when I actually needed them (and am so grateful for them because let me tell you- they come in handy!).

I just thought it might be fun/beneficial to actually get stuff I want. Kinda like a pen pal- but packages smiling smiley
So, I wasn't really interested in doing the whole "random stuff in a box" thing. Who knows...I may cave. But, until then...I'll keep trying to find my match!
@Tarantado
Thanks, I believe you are zone 4 since you are quite far from me. But, I'll keep you in mind!
(FYI- I couldn't delete this message and reply right under your original one)
