I Googled and found an email address on the CR website. I wrote to it today and the email bounced back. I tried it twice. Either the link is no good or the CR page is way out of date.@JASFLALMT wrote:

I got a flyer in the mail from Consumer Reports from their magazine subscription department. There was a brief article on mystery shopping for them, so it is not a scam. I registered with this link...[www.crg-web.com]. Looks like they use independent contractors to purchase products and send them into Consumer Reports for testing, etc. There is more information on their site.
I found this on the link (it is not Consumer Reports but another entity.)
By Registering on this website, you elect to place yourself on the CRG Bidder’s List and enter into an Agreement between the Consumer Research Group (“CRG”) and yourself as independent contractors with no employment association. CRG is in the business of providing management information to consumer-oriented companies. You are in the business of providing an objective assessment of such companies from the customer perspective (by describing your retail customer experience in the format specified in the CRG Customer Experience Report Form guidelines).
If anyone signs up and gets an assignment, let us know.

I signed up - will let you know. Didn't have to provide anything beyond address and phone to signup. Did have to write a short "store" experience.

At least a year ago, if not more, I registered with the MSC for which you provided the link. I check the site every so often, but I've never received any assignments, and I never hear anything from them.
