ATH Power New Account Shops (How soon can I close my accounts?)

Hello,

I recently completed two ATH Power new account shops with the red and white bank. How soon can I close these two accounts? It seems my shops were accepted because they both say "received" under status and I haven't been contacted about them in over a week.

Check your guide. You may need to wait 90 days depending on the type of account opened,
I recently closed an account. I simple walked in and asked to close it. The transaction was completed in less than 10 minutes.
What MSC did you work for? I don't remember anything in the guide about closing accounts but I will check again.
The guidelines will tell you the minimum amount of time to keep the account open.

Keep in mind the amount of time you need to fund the account to avoid fees. It's usually 60 days.

They told me 90 days. Watch out for fees! Avoid if at all possible or you will be making something like $68 instead of $100.

I only open savings accounts. You can keep small amounts of money in them. I suggest $100. You can withdraw or deposit easily. I keep several open as long as we are still shopping them. Most banks we shop for about a year. When I don't see them anymore I close them. Works for me! I have shopped by now over 2000 branches!
Ath power will usually let you know within the same week that it is received if you need to make corrections and changes to your reports. So if you do not hear from your scheduler, then all is good. If you keep the accounts open, you can keep doing 'customer teller shops'. They do not pay a whole lot except when bonused, but they make great fillers or in between shops when they happen to be on your route.

Does it mean you won't get paid until after the amount of time you need to keep the account open?
No. You'll get paid according to the MSC's regular payment schedule, usually a time-frame from when your shop is accepted and approved. And welcome to the forum!
