MarketForce

What's up with Market Force? I don't see very many shops anymore. Did they lose a bunch of clients? They are not responding to me anymore either.

If your email provider sends them bounced/blocked email notifications their different portals will limit access to see shops. Turn on the daily notifications to test if your provider is blocking them.

I have called them and they said I wasn't being blocked. Expanding the search to 100 mile radius I only see about 5-6 jobs.
My daily notifications is also on. Has been from the beginning. Something suddenly changed. They a,so used to call often about shops. No calls anymore. I have been shopping with them for about 2 years and done many, many shops. This is strange.
They won't tell you the truth. If you are blocked, they will deny it. That's my experience after shopping for them for almost 20 years. We have tested this theory by having different shoppers check the boards for the same zip codes. We all saw different shops.

Nothing you can do about it though....
With me, it appears to be demographics as I have a friend in her 40's and she gets a whole lot more shop notifications than I do and I'm in my 70's.

But why block?
No idea. Too positive? Too negative? Too many jobs done?

It's some top secret formula
I've definitely noticed that the volume of available shops has gone down quite a bit lately - I attribute it to the time of year ... I feel like they're always slow in Dec/Jan
I'm a newcomer and I thought the very same thing. Compared to other MSC's this one does not provide shop fees comparable to others. They are rock bottom, and not many to choose from in Memphis TN. The pay is very low. I'm hopeful though as a newcomer that something will pick up. However, reading comments from the vets has made me slightly pessimistic.
114 shops in my radius as of this afternoon. Was only about 20 two days ago, so it can be just a matter of timing.
They haven't called me in a couple months, but they have sent me emails on several bonused shops this month.
Have someone else check your zip and radius and you'll know if it's you or not.
I have 114 listed within 100 mile radius. Was 250 two days ago. I have also received a lot of calls in the last week to complete shops much farther in advance with little or no bonus.
I'm in Alabama. I'm was thinking the same thing. And I'm so sick of (X brand)! SMH!

Mod note: Client name removed. Linking the client with the MSC is a violation of Forum rules
I have a bunch of them...cell phone, tax prep, restaurants... I'm in Michigan. Did a half dozen for them last month.
mzzwanna, you need to remove the client's name from your post, as the mystery shopping company's name is in the title of this thread.
I do a lot of shops for them and they call me at least twice a month. And I just have a 25 mile radius.

I think they remove shops when they are calling too. I've noticed no fast food shops in the morning, but come back at night and there's a whole bunch of them with raised fees. You could be logging in while they are doing their phone calls.
At the beginning of the month they often send out emails to some shoppers offering $2-3 more that the board fee for drive in shops. They have a 24 or 48 hour time frame to respond (it's been awhile so I can't remember how long it is). The shops are removed from the board during this time, so it's very possible towards the beginning of the month you can look and see almost none and then 2 days later 75% of them pop back up.

Yup. This is 100% accurate. I've received four emails in the past week for an extra $2. I even got my first phone call today.

I see barely any, but i got a call offering me a substantial fee for a shop that I couldn't see on the board. Things that make ya wonder.
I think in my area, they just offered a bunch of bonus in the last 2 days. They offered me a bonus on a fast casual, I accepted it. I went back to the job board and half the fast casual that had been there were gone. An hour later, all the fast casuals were gone. The next day, all of the wireless shops disappearing too. So I think they've been offering bonus.
