Phone Shops gone in a FLASH????

How is it when one sees a phone shop listed, as it posts, and there are dozens of locations listed that they are all gone in a flash. Are people just sitting around watching their computer hoping a shop will post or do they use a "snipping: app like people use for on line auctions?
I asked a MSC about it and got a stock answer..."lots of shoppers" !

I don't do phone shops, so I'm no expert by any means and could be wrong, but I would guess that most of the people who do a lot of phone shops are aware of when the companies they shop for post their shops. I would also guess that people who do a lot of phone shops are home near their computer often. Hence the reason they prefer phone shops. Add the two together and I would guess the best phone shops get snatched up very, very quickly.

when a particular MSC releases their over 50 phone shops in my area, I'm lucky if I grab two. My emails come directly to my phone and I kid you not, by the time I log onto the MSC website there are only three or four shops left.

I've had emailed the scheduler and told them that I was interested in phone shops but when I log on they are taken, since I have a fairly good relationship with them, I've been assigned phone shops in other areas. I got three for Ohio the other day. The scheduler just emailed me and asked if I wanted them.
If you are waiting on emails to come through then you're probably behind the game. Those could be hours after they're posted.

I've had that happen too. I've received a few when the e-mail pings and I just happened to be sitting right there. I have noticed that some schedulers will send out additional emails that promise all of their phone calls to one shopper if they are willing to pickup all of the shops on the list. I did a scheduled list of 7 once but I have seen them go out with as many as 56 calls to be made and "first shopper to email me I want them all gets the lot". We just gotta keep trying to snag up those phone shops.

The only phone shops I do are the tire company shops. I don't worry about area. I just grab the first five I can. There are many dozens in my state but if you wait until five minutes after the email comes out to start self assigning, you might as well forget it for that month.
