A Flagship location?

I'm conducting a retail shop today and one of the questions on my survey asks if the location is a Flagship store or a small/middle sized store. I sent an e-mail to the scheduler to clarify a few instructions, but the return e-mail did not mention the query I had about the Flagship question. The client sells electronics and appliances and is located in what use to be a Food Lion grocery store. How can I tell if it's considered a Flagship?

Did you try googling the name of the store and the word "flagship"? Wikipedia or another source might tell you. A Flagship store is usually a hub, so it is usually impressive looking, larger than other locations, and in a central, easily accessible location. It doesn't sound like the one you are talking about is a flagship location if it's within a grocery store, but research on google and you might find the answer!

With your knowledge of the area, does it stand out as the main store in the company? Or is the store the same, or a similar sized store compared to its other locations?

A good example is the FAO Schwarz toy store when they had multiple locations across the country. The "flagship store" is the one located in New York City, while the other stores back when they were open were small/middle sized stores.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!

Are the instructions different if it's a flagship store? If not, and you don't get an answer before it's time to do the report, I wouldn't stress over it. I would guess the scoring is different between the two types of locations and it's probably just in there to make scoring the report easier. The client should be aware of which stores are flagship and which are not, and most likely gave the MSC that list. If you chose the wrong option the editor will just change it if it doesn't match up to the list.

You could call the store and inquire. You don't even have to call the store that you're evaluating. Call another store and inquire if the ____ store is a flagship store.
