Going on cruise, would like to find shop onboard

Hi. I have started mystery shopping recently and through my research I have come to the conclusion that usually cruise lines don't pay for shops, but provide two complimentary tickets.
I have already purchased tickets for my entire family leaving on a cruise on the 28th of February. I was wondering if it is possible to find a way to contact the schedulers to see if it is possible for me to do a shop and get paid and/or do the spa packages onboard, etc.
I know it is unethical to put the name of the companies that do shops for a particular business, but I'm sure there must be some ethical way find a shop while I am already on a ship and get reimbursed for it.
Help from veterans would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Salsabeel

What I have generally found on travel evaluations is that the spa is one aspect of the whole experience to be evaluated. I would rather doubt that the spa in this case would be a separate shop unless the cruise is XYZ cruises that franchises out the spa to ABC Spas. (Sort of like the McDonalds in a Walmart is shopped separately from Walmart.) If you are flying to catch the cruise you may be able to snag airport shops through Bare (HMS Host Bare). Those usually are for a coffee shop, a sandwich, a gift shop, etc. and pay around $5 plus a limited reimbursement. I use them to kill time in an airport when I have a long layover. I wouldn't suggest a hotel shop on the way out because of the time needed to do the report (and you will want to be exploring the ship rather than writing reports), but if you are going to need a hotel on the way back, check Anonymous Insights and Freeman to see if there is something that fits your needs.
