Attack of the Pizza Shops

Has anyone else received tons of emails today to do pizza shops? They are for a pizza shop I used to do for another MSP, but I have yet to do one for the MSP they are with now. I received nine all from the same scheduler earlier in the day. They weren't like all the same email where it could have been an email glitch. They had different titles, but they were for the same locations. Now I just checked my email and in the last two hours and I received four more.

I understand the schedulers have deadlines to meet and need to get their shops assigned, but that's really not the way to go about it.

No emails for pizza, but the same from PrivateEyes, many emails daily for a sandwich shop, and wing shop. I told her I would do the sandwich shop in my neighberhood, and she got very confused, and sent me four more emails. I am distrubed by her lack of communication and her telling me this is my fault. She denied sending all these emails.....sounds like a newbie, now I'm gonna pass. Never had such a barage of the same email...just a little annoying....computer problem daily, maybe!!

edited to remove name and to add...the above offered a small reimbursement and no fee. Glad I got upset and cancelled, as SI just sent me my fav lunch place (TexMex) for nice reimbursement and a 7.00 fee for same day.

I have never gotten a barage of email from Joan. I like Joan. I wish she still played here, but I do get to see her other places online. She sends one email, and that is it.

Yes, my email today had 6 from the same Kern Scheduler and one from a different Kern Scheduler. Frankly I didn't look to see if they were all for the same location. I don't do these shops, just checked them off to delete. And today is not the first day of the barrage.

Edited to add: Today also seemed to be the day for ICCDS to offer me every shop in my state one by one. Again, did not open them to see what they were for because the subject line showed them all to be shops I don't bother with and areas much to far to go for less than a huge bonus to cover the day of travel.

Haha, I wish I could read my emails from ICCDS today. Everyone I've tried to open is just a blue bar with nothing else. Don't know if it's a problem on her side of my email.

I have received 8 of these emails today, 7 yesterday.

I said I was available for a sub shop and she sent me three more emails.

To much trouble for a sandwich. My husband is cooking tonight.

I got one email from ICCDS today, and it was for my area, bonused, and opened readily.

Nobody seems to want many of the Kern shops around here, so how does Kern respond? With the daily flood of emails, of course.

Seriously, Kern. You want these shops scheduled? Then offer a nice bonus. I was doing some of these exact pizza shops for $20 or more (+ reimbursement) last month. No way am I doing them for $5. Also, the party store shops are an obvious dog at $7. Either boost the pay, or admit defeat and drop the client.
I guess we do not have these same Kern shops here that people in other localities are complaining about. I only get notices from a couple of really good schedulers, other than the owner. I could do without latter's notices, but I shop monthly for the others, and have a good relationship with them.

The only time I have scheduled any of the pizza shops that offer only a $5 incentive is when I REALLY did not feel like cooking supper and it was a delivery shop.
fiteybitey...very glad you confirmed my experience. I have nothing against Joan (as Dee implied), only about the barage of emails for a nothing job. They ask me to do the one not far from me in a out of the way location. I did it a couple times, and to tell the truth not worth giving up my texmex for.... I know she hasn't been scheduling that long, but, send me a good job once in awhile. Could their be a problem with computer so often???? Just asking.

I agree with you Irene.. Last week Joan emailed as per usual and there were two shops I would do, but not in her time frame. I answered the email per her instructions then added I could do both on the 13th not on the 12th (was at the beach on the 12th). She never replied and when I got home after the beach, checked my email I have a zillion messages from Joan - none of them a reply - and you know the rest. I said I could, but she doesn't answer. Just more emails. WEIRD
Yes, I consistently get emails in clumps about this shop from two MSCs, several times a week. None of the locations deliver to my area. Not that it upsets me, because I'm not a fan of their pizza!

Also got a barrage of emails from Joan. Right state, wrong city. As for ICCDS, well, I'm not sure if that computer filter never gets "smarter" as I was told it would, or if it's the scheduler, just being lazy. Countless emails every single day for another state.
Oh wow, I just trash the emails thinking they were a total waste of time. I am not in the delivery area of this client anymore so I always overlook them. BTW, I wonder how this company got this client, I used to see them with another company, actually 2 different comanies.
They refuse to deliver to me as I am TWO BLOCKS outside their delivery area. I also don't understand why we can't just order a plain cheese pizza. Add the mutilation in, and how can this be worth it? It's just a joke.

What was I thinking? Make that the THREE MSCs who do this shop!

These emails now go straight to my spam smiling smiley
Weird, I was just coming to update this.

It is seriously getting unreal. I have some version of the pizza email from the same email address just today at:

6:42 am
6:54 am
7:39 am
9:12 am
10:05 am
12:02 pm
12:03 pm
12:08 pm

and there aren't even any cities left within a 60 mile radius of me now.
That's just crazy, Lisa. I got one, but none of the shops were in HI.

Boo. Hiss. Use Sassie correctly. For surely that scheduler doesn't expect me to fly to Chicago or somewhere for a $5 shop and a free pizza?

As bad as the begging for pizza gets, I get twice as many emails begging for bowlers.

At this point I just filter KSS emails into a different folder so that I don't have to see them. It's probably 20 a day in L.A.
Oh c'mon, Dee..

I think you're being totally unreasonable here. After all, $5.00 IS $5.00.

And Hawaii's beauty can't begin to compare to Chicago in July. Just get here and eat your pizza, already!

You're right, Karen. Whatever was I thinking? :-)

I wonder if MCP realizes that they are being made fun of and annoying shoppers due to their outside scheduler's practices? I ask as they seem to be a pretty straight up company.

Well why not? Surely the $5 fee with the newly added $5 bonus should foot the bill to get you from HI to Chicago. winking smiley

I wondered how aware they even were that the scheduling company was sending out so many emails. I wondered that because I am also getting emails for the same shops directly from MCP so I thought maybe they didn't know we were already getting the emails for the shops.
I am to the point that if I see ANY Kern emails tomorrow with the word pizza in them I will go to the website and turn off emails from them. I did that a few years ago when I got fed up with the golf and bowling endless emails. Since they have not sent anything but junk offers my way in the past 12 months or more (definition of "junk": shops of no interest, shops of substantially too low pay, shops out of my shopping area) there is more to gain by turning off email than to lose.
I been getting those Pizza emails the last week or so. Like all day. My problem is I do not eat any pork products, and every topping I saw had pepperoni or sausage. I guess companies do not care about people who like to keep their blood pressure down. LOL
I think I saw some cheese ones, but if you are watching blood pressure you also need to be watching salt and certainly these pizzas are full of salt. Worst part is that they don't even taste very good to me and taking pictures of bad pizza while it gets cold and colder before you eat it is nuts. I did ONE when the fee was $25 and even felt at that it was hardly worth it.
Well that is the other point. I like real pizza. Not chains that have no idea what they are doing.
