Asurion Live Chat Shops-- experiences?

Anyone have any experience with these? There are always a ton on the boards for $5 and I could do them on the weekend or off time while I'm sitting at my desk for a quick $5. Anyone have any experience with these and could offer up if they are valuable or difficult to execute? I read the overview but it didn't give much into them.

I'm glad you asked because I was wondering about them too. They are all that's available and a bank shop. I'm not really interested in either but if it's not lengthy, I'd consider doing a few of the former.

They're with a reputable company, but the payment turnaround is slow. It's alright though, as most of the work around here doesn't require I put any cash into it for reimbursements.

So without going into two much detail what do these shops involve?

From the way the guidelines read, you just use the online help chat and evaluate how the customer service rep did while helping you out. Seems simple enough but sometimes simple turns into 192 questions -_- But they read easy enough.

Very easy. Chat is at most 10 mins (I ask very simple tech support questions, but enough for reps to still provide actual support). Report was also short with 1 narrative only. I think they showed the questionnaire before even accepting the shop.

Are we capped at one of these? Either way, I'm off tomorrow. Think I'll sign up for one and test it out

I think I'll try it too. Sounds really easy and we can work from home ! Can't beat that.

Looks like we can sign up for at least 3 of them. I just grabbed up a few. At least I won't have to leave home.

Actually, just saw new dates. So I have 5 total. No more than 2 each day. I read over everything and they seem simple enough for not having to leave home

After doing one of these, I can definitely say it was well worth it and very simple for not having to leave home. I was able to get a total of 6 so far and have enjoyed them. I hope you get some more 7star!

I'm glad someone asked asked as well. Saw them on there this morning trying to see if a car wash near me was available. The looked easy enough, but I like more info.

I just completed 2 of these this morning. I had to do them between 3AM and 7 AM CST. Both times I tried for an hour but the Asurion chat function was offline and a tech was not available. The instructions state to keep trying for an hour.

Were you able to get a tech or did you report none was available ?

7star, I was not able to get a tech. I tried for an hour each time. The chat stated it was offline and wouldn't let me connect to anyone.

Dare--Did you use the chat at the main bottom of the page? There are 4 or 5 of them and they all show "offline" but if you pick them anyway, the last one on the bottom connected me to a chat agent. I was surprised.

I see now what you're talking about. I've been trying for about 50 minutes and nothing :/ It says my ETA is 6 minutes and 7 seconds, but it's been saying that the entire hours. Hmmm

Yes, per the instructions, I did chose the chat at the main bottom of the page. I even tried on both IE and Chrome. Now the msc is coming back and questioning me. I hopefully will be paid for these, as I followed the instructions and it is not my fault that the chat feature was offline!

Where do you go to sign up for these shops, if you don't mind me asking?

The msc reached out to me and stated that I would be paid for both assignments. They said that several shoppers weren't actually clicking on the chat button, and they wanted to make sure that I did. I did 3 more shops today and was able to reach the Tech Experts right away with no issues. Very easy assignment!

I can't find the msc that has these shops anywhere. Is it a new company? Any clues as to where I can find it to sign up?

It's not a new company. Unfortunately we're not allowed to divulge the name of the company since the client has been mentioned. They're not Sassie or Prophet, if that helps any.
