Bank shops/re-doing them

I am deciding if i should apply for a Bank job I did (same branch) 4 months ago, same scenerio, same agent,
if I didn't take out loan last time, will he know I'm a shopper? Feedback appreciated.

`Until recently I was working the same twelve banks on a monthly basis. Only one banker has ever show any sign of recognizing me. They see so many people every day - 4 months is like forever. Unless you have purple hair and lots of piercings, they won't remember you.

In the event they do recognize you, have your story ready. Yes, I'm sorry you did provide me with the information a few months ago. I changed my mind, but have now decided that I need the loan after all I can't remember what you told me. I use the I'm old, I can't remember card all the time! Odds are if they recognize you, they won't recall from where. I'd go for it.

Shopping up and down the Colorado Rocky Mountain front range.
I had an investment banker recognize me. Totally took me off guard. He asked questions like "Where did you go to school," and "Did you live in Los Angeles?"

Another banker recognized me. Luckily, I had a quick comeback, and the same story. Both made sense for my return visit.

Other bankers, their eyes showed recognition, but they went through the motions.

My concern was just that, i am easily reconizable, people just remember me, and no, i have no piercings...smiling smiley

That's me, Irene. I'm sorta noticeable. I have blue eyes and one is a slightly different color so people who look me in the eyes tend to notice and I have about three feet of hair that I sit on all the time :/ . I'll often make notes in my shop book on how I wore my hair for this very reason. I may braid it one month, and three months later put it in a bun so you can't tell how much I have. I may also wear my glasses and then take them off next time. I try to get different bankers each time and will purposely sit myself closest to the office of a new banker if I am able to.

I tried taking off my glasses for a shop last week where I had the same banker as I had a few month's earlier. Only problem was I couldn't see a dang thing the banker was referring to. Did a lot of head nodding..

I kept a spare pair of glasses in my car to change up my look when doing bank shops. It's my older pair of glasses that still looked decent. Can't remove glasses since I can only see past my nose.
I'm thinking of wearing a wig, since I have a cute one I never wear, bought it for travel long ago...now I'll be a blond..."winking smiley

Banks are on my list of long rotations regardless of what the MSC wants. I tend to wait at least two years.

There are a few banks I won't do anymore due to being recognized. I went to a branch 6 months after doing it for the first time. As I walked in the banker I saw last time said hello Peggy, its been a while. I was surprised.
I see a appliance store that I'd like to do again but it's been only two weeks since I completed the shop. There were only 2 employees in the whole store last time. What are the chances I won't be recognized again ? This time I would be asking about a different piece of cooking appliance. The msc may not even let me do the shop again although the shop sits there for awhile.
Sorry for diverting from the bank scenario but I thought it was similar.
For me it seems easy to go talk about a different appliance. The same one would be odd.

I have only met you online, but I bet in person you are fabulous and memorable.
I'm going to assume you are talking to Irene even though my quote was included, LOL!

I was busted by 2 bank branches last month. I knew it was going to happen eventually. My biggest issue is one makes the difference of me making a profit or spinning my wheels.

I do my best to avoid 'sales' shops because the associates have a tendency to remember me.
My hair color (not purple) is distinctive. I do my best never to speak Spanish because my accent is Cuban or Puerto Rican...it stands out in Texas. Since I stand out, I wear clothing that makes me stand out.

Banks are my bread and butter money for the teller side. I was busted for the sales shops.

Thanks, but that may be an overstatement on my part.....

Yes, somehow I think you too Lisa might be memorable.
I on the other hand have the issues that Mountain Cacher has. I look more like a Mountain girl in a big city. Have two different color eyes and hair not that I sit on but that sits on me in a big fluffy, curly reddish blond frame all around my face and freckles in a city full of brown or darker haired people. It cannot really be fixed any other way than how it wants to look each morning. Unless I shop in one of the beach cities light skinned people are a rarity. I know this is true as it is so difficult to find "blond" eyebrow pencils even in the beach cities.

Fortunately, I am "not memorable" and probably could repeat certain bank shops more often than I am willing to do. I just like to schedule additional time between certain shops at certain locations.

On the other hand, if ever I can find out whether turnover is a frequent or constant event, it might not matter how often I shopped at certain places and I would be willing to complete more of those shops.. Hmmmm.....
