Bristol Farms What Question to Ask the Sushi Department?

I signed up for a Bristol Farms job. The guidelines say I need to try to find a product that is away from the associate and is in stock then ask a question to see if they walk me to the item. Any suggestions for the Sushi, Deli and Juice/Coffee departments.

Was the sushi made today?
Is the sushi made in-house?
Do you have any dark roast beans?
Can I grind the coffee beans in the store?
Can I get meat or cheese sliced thick?
Can I get meat or cheese cubed?
How much salt is in your chicken salad?
Does your turkey salad contain nuts?

Ask the Sushi dept where to find their sushi rice/nori/wasabi/ginger. Or ask if the fish they use is sold in-store.
Ask Deli where to find rye bread with seeds or Koskiusko mustard. Or, where to find pre-packaged cold cuts.
Ask Coffee where to find non-dairy creamer/sugar. Or where to find plastic stirrers, cups.
HonnyBrown I love the questions (and think I'll save them for my other grocery shops) but I don't think they follow the guidelines. The questions I have to answer are about if the employee escorted me to the item requested. So I have to ask for an item and it has to be away from the counter but still in the department if I'm reading everything properly. I've written the MSC but they haven't responded and the shop is tomorrow... I'm already regretting this job.
In the Deli-------->where is the Ronzoni macaroni located; Juice------->where is the Chicken of the sea tuna; Sushi------> where is Grandma Moses Black molasses. Specifically asking for Brand names, makes them THINK plus escort you. That also eliminates them from giving you Aisle numbers.:-)

BTW, with Sushi as a Seafood product or a section at a Seafood counter. It be hard for the employee to escort you to a different dept. Usually the employee is Oriental and is independent of the store. No disgraced placed on the Sushi employee but he usually the only Oriental worker in the store and works by himself.
This does not have to be right about all Sushi depts, but around here, Sushi workers are ICs not employees.
If your town or city has a large Oriental community you may find a Sushi dept and not a counter. This is the store's discrimination not mine. smiling smileysmiling smiley

Rugs are Oriental. People are Asian.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
The scheduler wrote back last night and said to Just ask what's in a .... type of sushi and then ask something about maybe types of juice or coffee.
I'll just have to wing it I guess. I'll see if there are any products in the department yet outside the counter area to ask for. If there are I'll ask about them, if not I'll use the suggestions HonneyBrown gave.
You can ask what kind of sake, beer, tea would go well with the sushi. Some sushi counters have the tea in the sushi cooler. Do you make any of the sushi with brown rice? Most sushi counters are located near the alcohol dept.
