Is Godiva still shopped?

I know a few months ago there was a shop to evaluate their ice cream, but it was with a different msc. I haven't seen the actual chocolate shops posted in quite a while. Does anyone know?

I don't know but you just reminded me I have to go to Macy's and use my CC to purchase some Godiva. I go every 3 months to make sure they don't close my account due to inactivity and the Godiva chocolate is the cheapest thing available to purchase.

Have you looked at the Red Zone Clearance Section ? Sometimes they have real good deals on women's clothes, all different sizes. Could be $10 or under.
I went to Godiva to get my $10 because my year was up. So can you go anywhere and buy Godiva with a credit card and Godiva finds out about it and gives you rewards credit? I thought I could only go to Godiva retail shops for that. CVS used to sell their 3.5 oz bars a lot cheaper...now they converted those to much smaller bars for about the same price at Godiva.
I thought the rewards was only good at the Godiva store, like buying Starbucks coffee at Barnes and Noble doesn't earn rewards.

Eyelove, are you going to Macy's to get Godiva to update your Macy's reward or to update your Godiva reward account????
Come to think of it. I have not seen Godiva shopped around my area for a while. I miss it especially now that I am running out of hot chocolate.
I did the Godiva Ice cream shop great msp by the way. I only did the regular Godiva shop once. Too bad cause I am at the outlets 1-2 times a month with a Godiva store and I always get my free truffle. The ice cream shop there gave me another whole year of free truffles (1 per month). Then I get my free Lindor at Lindt which is in same outlet mall no purchase required. I believe Lindt recently switched MSPs to an shops via email invite only.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I never found the company doing the Ice Cream shops but perhaps they suspended those for the winter...Here where I live we don't really have winter and I splurged on an ice cream in Feb to get my rewards year started again before my bday month so I could get my $10 bday reward. The Ice Cream was good. Too bad only one Godiva store close enough to where I live....
BuffaloNY101,
Lindt is still with the same MSP. There are some locations on their job board, unfortunately none in my area though.
They've closed a ton of the Godiva shops over the years. If you're looking for Macy's rewards with good deals, their clearance gets super cheap, especially when it's out of season. I bought some spring linens for Christmas that were down to a dollar or two that started over $50.
Last time I was at the mall I tried to get my monthly free piece of Godiva. Found out the store is gone. Now there's only one in the entire metro area.

Crap. Which store closed, West County?

I received the $10 birthday perk recently. Went to a large store that was shut down. The other one a few blocks away went out of business also. A few months ago, I stopped in to purchase chocolate for Christmas gifts and asked for the free piece. Was told they were cutting back and no longer offering the freebie. I have been getting many emails from Godiva for free shipping, no minimum, etc. frequently. Don't think they're doing too well.
I have a feeling that if their chocolate wasn't so flipping expensive they might do better. If I really want Godiva I can get it cheaper at the grocery store or places like TJ Maxx / Marshalls. Godiva doesn't tend to have good sales at their stores. I much prefer the variety Lindt has to offer, and they always have a sale going on at their outlet mall location nearby.
I'm a huge fan of Godiva and have not found any I like better. I'm also the type who can buy a box and have it last weeks or months since sweets are not a part of my daily diet.

My opinion of Godiva took a nose dive after seeing flies fluttering all around inside the enclosed strawberry display at two different stores. Yes, it was summer, but still..UCK

Slightly off topic, the same happened to me when I went to buy a bakery item from a Starbucks. There was a gnat flying around inside and the 'Barista' didn't even flinch an eye when I mentioned to him that I didn't want to buy it because of the gnat. Since then, no more bakery from that Starbucks. Same scenario at a Nordstrom ebar bakery display. On my list too.
I'm a big Godiva fan. I also love Lindt. I have done both jobs but they were far and few in between. I buy that huge bag of assorted truffles for $20+ and it lasts and lasts. Lindt and Godiva are great gifts. Each Godiva store I have patronized have a person making the chocolate covered strawberries. That is their allure, lol. Looks scrumptious. I must say immaculate because if it were not, I would be turned off. I did one fine dining shop where the beer nozzles had gnats flying about. Totally gross and you know the bartenders had to see.
