Samantha offers

It'll probably show that I do not do all that much with this MSC, but for the first time ever I replied to a Samantha offer that I would accept a shop, and stated my date (which would be Saturday). This was about 24 hours ago, if there is no response at this point, should I just assume they gave it to another shopper? Or can these take a little while before they get sorted out? It's not the end of the world if they don't give me the shop and my accepting it was more to help the MSC fill it if they were having trouble with it.

You can always check the job board and see if it is still there. If it has been given to someone, it will not show up there.

If you accepted the shop through a Samantha offer, re read what Samantha sent you. Usually the email tells the shopper what will happen if you accept her shop. The response is perform the shop and the increase fee will be there.

Yeah, who the heck is Samantha? I'm apparently not signed up with that MSC yet.

MarketForce uses many methods to book shops. Samantha is one of them. It's an automated email sent to shoppers, offering a bonus for an assignment. Shoppers must reply to the email, if interested, in order to get the bonus. As far as I know, it's first come, first served.

Samantha usually offers me $2. It usually needs to be $20 or I'd have taken it off the board already.

Sometimes if I get a Samantha offer, I get a phone call about that shop too. The person on the phone will usually approve a higher bonus than the Samantha offer.
