Bank shopped by two MSCs?

I noticed a bank in my area is being shopped by two different Mystery Shopping Companies. Is that normal? Seemed weird to me.

Yes, it's normal. Sometimes they are competitor shops and sometimes they have different shop scenarios altogether for each MSC.

It's very normal. Ive done four different shops (for different MSCs) at one bank.

This also happens in big box stores.

Sometimes the MSC's qualifications state that you cannot shop at this location within the past 30 days or with another MSC. There were some shops at the same locations for different scenarios but must all interact with the banker.
