Shop dates magically changed? UPDATE

I applied for a couple of shops that had dates of 4/2-4/9 on them. I wrote down in my application book that I had applied and a little bit later received a ding of shops being accepted. When I go to my dashboard, it says the shops are due 3/27-3/29. I wrote the scheduler and asked about moving the shops dates since the application date had 4/2-4/9 as available times and received a reply that they would make sure the dates were moved but it's been 3 days and the shops are now "past due". I wrote a second time and received no response after 48 hours so I called and left a voicemail that said my name, shop email, and a brief blurb of the shops still showing past due. It's a new company. I don't want to hurt my reputation with them, as it seems they have a dozen or so $8 shops nearby that I can grab up and stay close to home (which is rare around here!)

Should I write a third time and ask about the dates or should I try to go do the shops before they disappear from the dashboard, or should I just let them sit there? It's a new-to-me company that required an app download and using the app to input the shops.

I didn't mess up the dates, and when I look at the other shops that I haven't been approved for yet, they still have the 4/2-4/9 dates on them.

ETA: The shops still have not been confirmed because I didn't want to "confirm" them with the wrong dates on them.

You should email the scheduler and state that you signed up for the shops on for so and so date. State that you do not want to confirm the shops since the shops dates were moved for another date. Then add as your closing sentence, "Just to confirm, the shop, shop location for shop #ID (if possible to obtain) are for 4/2 to 4/9 and not 3/27 to 3/29?" Never leave a voice mail. You should have everything that you communicated with your scheduler in writing.
I already emailed twice to the scheduler, which is why I went ahead and called too. Is it too much to send a THIRD email? 0_o It's a new company that I haven't worked with before and I don't want to be too pushy. Maybe it's cause it's the end of the month?? Actually, I sorta emailed three times because I used the Help/Contact feature on the ships too. Hmmmmmmm I don't wanna have a flake citation or two right off the bat. Seems communication isn't two-sided right now though.

Do not send a third email. Wait for the scheduler to respond to you. Even though the shops dates show that it is a past due, you already established the fact that the shop date you requested were for 4/2 to 4/9. It might be the scheduler who went ahead to change the dates without confirming the dates with you so the scheduler can make the deadline.
By the way, never, ever write any of your emails in a accusatory manner to any scheduler. Something like, you changed the dates of my shops without my approval/knowledge. Use tact and restrain when writing to any scheduler. Write something in the line like this" I applied for this shop for so and so date but I noticed the shops dates were changed to 3/31. I cannot perform this shop on the new dates because I will not be available to do them. Is it possible to still do the shop on the original date of 4/2 to 4/9?"
I sent an email to the scheduler and the help desk along the lines of "Hi, I was writing because I noticed the shop dates on my dashboard don't seem to match up to the application dates when I applied. I had written down a date of 4/2-4/9 as the shop dates but I see it shows shop dates of 3/27-3/29. I am available the week of 4/2 to perform the shops, but wanted to check in before the shops became overdue or flakes with the current dates and see if there was some sort of clerical error. Could you please let me know if these shops are available 4/2-4/9? If not, I will have to request them to be canceled since I'm unavailable this week to perform shops in this area" or something like that. I used their email from the website and I used the websites Help/Contact button. Hopefully they get back to me. It's just $16 if they do go away, but I don't wanna get any flakes on new shops. I'll check it tomorrow and see if it has disappeared.

If the reply says they will move the dates then I would wait for that or set you mind on doing the shops it April. You do have the email with date change statement.

Sometimes when we become a "bug", the scheduler will tend to ignore us. We are not her only Shopper Client.smiling smiley
Received an email this morning apologizing for my shop issue and explaining that they had overbooked. Only X number of locations needed to be shopped and they were getting close to limits. Scheduler said to keep my eyes out and that they just removed my two shops. Ah well. It wasn't a ton of money, but was some easy looking shops similar to things on Gigwalk. I'm probably not the only shopper who got the notice. I guess I'll keep my eye peeled to see if they post more things in my area because it's always nice to find more companies who work nearby.

I'm glad you stayed on top of it and received feedback. So essentially, your shop date was changed to accommodate the gaps for the scheduler???
