The blue ones? There is a learning curve to be sure, but depending on the area you are in, you can make bank on them. Within 100 miles of me they regularly get bonused from $50 to as high as $90 each. Even at $15 you can easily do 8 in a day. That's $120 without any gas or reimbursements. They are easy once you get used to it. Most of us make cheat sheets to make sure we don't forget anything.
What those people are thinking is that gas stations create a LOT of work for people who do them. There are tons of them and they get done multiple times a year. Of course, they aren't for people who are too lazy to put in a little initial effort.
So anyone who refuses to do them is lazy? Your post was fine until that last part. I counted over 80 pages of instructions and guidelines. That is way too much for a $15 shop. I can do cell phone shops, with 3 pages of instructions at $9 each and make more money in less time.

I didn't say anyone who refuses to do them is lazy. Lots of people don't like them, just the way I don't like lots of narratives. I decided to wade through the paperwork and learn all of the violations of the brands I do because I wanted a lot of regular work without narratives. It may be too much for a $15 shop, but it's not too much for hundreds if not thousands of them that can be completed in 30-40 minutes max, some of them heavily bonused. If you don't want to do them don't, but I don't see the paperwork as being out of line for learning a new, and somewhat in demand form of shopping.

True, the first one is tough because you have to learn what to look for and the 60-70 pages is daunting when you don't know what you're looking at. But, once you've done a few you will know exactly what to look for. I do the MF ones by memory now; I don't have to refer to the 60 or so pages at all. It's a lot of guidelines for one or two shops but if you find there are many in your area and these shops are available every month then you've just stumbled on a gold mine! Do three of them and then come back and give your evaluation to us!
Hi, after you do a few they actually become very easy. I thought the same thing at first. Also, once you learn one chain it is easy to learn the others because alot of the items to photograph or look for are the same. It takes me about 11 minutes to complete a gas station audit and I get free gas.
I applied for some gas station shops. Then I saw it included over 60 pages of instructions. The shops only pay around $15 each. What are these people thinking? LOL
