Haven't seen them in my area either. But, can't say as I care. I would only take with a huge bonus. Too much work for the fee offered.

I see them with a different company. Same fee but no more "Out of stock" scenario. Yay for that!
Sweet - that was the half of the shop that I loathed. I must not be signed up with the new MSC though since I haven't seen any shops. Is it one of the larger MSC?

I must not be either I have not seen them sad smiley Is the pay the same? I also hated the out of stock scenario!!!
Now that I have looked at it more, I'm thinking this isn't really a "Lowe"s" shop after all, it's more of a "certain brand" shop and Lowe's happens to be one of the stores that carries that certain brand. They offer the same shop at Best Buy and Home Depot. Seems you have to take a photo of the store and get a business card or brochure, plus make a $1.00 purchase. You also have a certain set of features to ask about, reminds me of some cell phone shops I have done before. Sorry if I misled anyone!
I was going to find out if they are still around. I loved them for the large bonuses. The out of stock was not hard. I went in, looked for an empty space, looked to find out if the item was unavailable and proceeded. Not the guidelines but it worked.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

Welcome to the forum, Merchris. Many of us do know which company shops Lowes, but because mystery shoppers are required to sign Independent Contractor Agreements (ICA), almost all of which contain confidentiality clauses, we are prohibited from revealing it. In addition, the guidelines of our forum state "Do not reveal the clients of mystery shopping companies."
Lowe's has always been on my 10' pole list...way too much work and narrative required for the amount of job pay. If Lowe's is gone, I do not miss them. I do like shopping their stores as a customer though.
My husband just asked me today if I had a Lowe's shop I could pick up, and I realized I hadn't seen one in months! We need some stuff, but I'd rather just buy it.... I must not be signed up with the company that has them now. I get notices on the Home Depot shops, but the nearest one to me that gets shopped is 20 miles away. And I have one about 1 1/2 miles from me, but it's never shopped.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I haven't seen Lowes on my job board in months, no doubt they have someone else picking them up every time now--remember they have that question about if you'd be willing to do the shop for the next round and if you click yes it's yours and doesn't appear on the board.
