When the Mystery Shopping Company is a Mystery...

There is a "bag your own" grocer based in the Northwest that did mystery shops with Reality Check up until the end of 2016. I did many successful shops for them, and then the scheduler with RC told me that they went with another company this year. I am signed up with 70+ companies and looking on Google has not helped. I know this forum does not condone connecting MSCs with actual companies, so, any ideas on how to further investigate who the new MSC is for this company? I miss doing their shops, sigh. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Did you ask the other scheduler outright? The often know who got the contract.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

When asked, they said they went with another company that was cheaper. I didn't press any further. I guess I could, but, in case they don't say the name, was seeking out tips for a 6-month mystery shop newbie.
Poke around the forum and ask who does grocery shops, or look up previous posts on it. There are a dozen companies listed so you might find yours! I know a couple companies pay much less for shops since they changed hands...

In my area, it is handled by one of the biggest MSCs, which typically arent high paying. I saw them posted w $3 fee and $5 reimbursement. It has gone down from when I used to do them all the time.
foodluvr, you might be thinking of a different client and MSC. The MSC I believe you are thinking of has had the client for probably 10 years or more and the client is not based in the NW but is actually a European company.
Is it the grocery store that doesn't accept credit cards? If so, I remember seeing one company with shops for them but I can't remember which one.

Yes, you are correct. I was refering to the European discount grocery chain.
The op is referring to a much larger grocery store with name brand products mostly not the German owned chain. The chain the OP is referring to has stores in Arizona where I did them. They are also partly employee owned.

Yup, I'm in the South and they are not here. I did a little "Sleuthing" and figured it out. Seems like an interesting chain with a good concept.
