VIDEO SHOPPERS LAWMATE EQUIPMENT CHANGES!!!

BIG!!!!!!!!! CHANGES!!!!!! The PV 500L3 is gone...

LONG POST...................

Hello from team Greyhawk!!!!!

We have some interesting changes coming as far as equipment goes. I want to say first, I sat down and had a long discussion with Sabar, the owner of Lawmate. We spoke about the current problems we have been facing. Screen freezes being at the top of the list. I also spoke to them about the wifi issues we have had. Those have been taken care of. I told them exactly what we need to do the work we do. They understand our concerns.

Lawmate is a global company. We are an important part of their client base, but by no means are we the largest buyer of equipment. They make a boat load of equipment. We use 2 or 3 units out of all that. Having said that, we do purchase a lot of that equipment and they do care.

Lawmate is advancing in its position of cutting edge technology. There focus is right for them as a business, but it impacts us in a big way. Production is in full swing to produce the PV 500 L4i. The PV-500 L3, like the ECO and the glasses will no longer be produced. I asked the owner directly if they would continue making any PV 500 L3s. The reply was a simple no. End of discussion. The PV 500 L4i is nothing like the PV 500 L3.

I just got my hands on the L4i. I will post some pictures and I will run it through it's paces. The changes to this model are drastic. The L4i does not have a screen. It connects with your smart phone through wifi. It still uses the BU-18 button camera. It has a feature that allows you to pair it with internet and you can access the camera feed in real time on the web anywhere in the world. It is fantastic for some applications. For us, I am not sure how we can use that.

As a company, we are trying to cover the bases and help this industry. I am doing everything I can to secure as many PV 500 L3s as I can. Like anything in business, supply and demand will impact us. The Lawmate glasses cam which was not that good was discontinued. There are select clients that depend on them. I have sent as far as Croatia to secure some. The already high price of $349.00 for those is over. IF you can find any, they sell for $600.00. With the radical design change, it will be a challenge to get the L3.

We have been able to offer the equipment at a really low price thanks to my close friend Jamie Martin. He has blessed my company in a way that has allowed me to sell them as low as we have and still stay in business. That will no longer be possible. So.........................

IF YOU WANT A PV-500L3 KIT with the price we have currently been offering, GET IT NOW!!!! That pricing will be over at the end of Videocon17 in Colorado on May 4th.

I will get as many PV 500 L3s as I can. After they are gone, I honestly recommend a PV 500 EVO with a BU-18 button camera. Short term, the price bump is going to sting. I will start over trying to drive the price down. Long term, the PV 500 EVO is a far more reliable and well built DVR. It is built on the ECO platform. They have almost no failures and last for quite a long time. I am still using my original EVO. The only reason I recommended the L3 is price and simplicity. My goal to make it more affordable to get into video has taken a hit, but we will roll the EVO into the leasing program to try and get shoppers out there.

IF YOU WANT A PV 500 L3/BU-18 CAMERA, PLEASE GET ONE NOW.......I can only claim so many. If I have active orders, I can claim more of the remaining stock.

Greyhawk will continue to help this community any way we can. We are family.

We work with most of the Video Shopping Companies out there. We supply a lot of companies. If you want to put a few back let me know.

Kind Regards,

Dan Thomas

I was going to buy at MSPA conference but it looks like I need to do it quicker. Do you recommend I get the L3 or the EVO? I've only done six video apartment shops with a button cam using the Pv500.

Working on my order now, thanks for your help and heads-up!
I will not buy PV-500 equipment from anyone but Dan. He is the best. He has done so much for me and has stood behind everything he has sold. Can't say enough good about him. On top of all that, his prices are the best around.

I would not buy any equipment from anyone but Dan. He truly knows what we need in this industry and he stands behind everything that he sells. I have done video, extensively, since 2005 and he is really the first to do this!

God Bless my video family. We try really hard to take care of everyone. Thank you all so much for your support. Moving made a mess. I apologize to anyone that we did not get right back to. @ Ceasesmith. We have leasing. We have made it possible to get in, even on a tight budget. The lease if you want to own it, allows you to lease to own. We are here to help.

Dan
Thanks, Dan. I don't think "tight budget" means the same thing to me as it does to most of the people on this forum. My food budget is $13 a week; I don't have health insurance, because I can't pay the premium. I think I have $10 in a savings account. And I know I didn't make enough MSing this month to pay my rent and utilities next month. AND I am tech hapless! An absolute dinosaur. I wouldn't even have a cell phone, except someone gave me one, when she bought a new one. And I live in the middle of nowhere, which means I'd probably have to drive 600 miles or more away from home to perform a route of video shops. I'm not whining or asking for anything -- I'm much, MUCH better off than I was a year ago, when I didn't even have the income from MSing.
Thanks! I'll never forget the encouragement and actual help I got from this forum when things were at their bleakest! I will be forever grateful.
