scheduler scheduled wrong date (ms question. not food question)

scheduler scheduled shop for today but that is not date I agreed to. i emailed & left vm but no response. ireport has 24 hour deadline. should i try to chnage date now or wait for scheduler response.

Depends on the MSC's website -- some allow rescheduling, some do not. When I haven't gotten an answer I need, I resend the original e-mail but put "urgent" in the subject line, and ask politely if I could have the courtesy of a reply.

Since today is the 1st, you should be okay. It's Monday night and they may have gotten lots of emails ahead of yours and other work to keep them busy. Hopefully it'll turn out okay in the end. Did you apply via email or in the MSC's site like Sassie?

I once had a supervisor who wrote a note on the breakroom refrigerator door that stated: "People, please date your food." One of the gals wrote underneath: "Why, what's wrong with dating men?"

I was curious the OP's need to state that this was not a food question.

Edited to add that if you could have changed the date manually I don't know why you needed to email the scheduler at all. At this point, if you are allowed to change the date yourself, I would do so and then email the scheduler a followup informing them that you changed it yourself.

There is a fairly new rather long winded poster who frequently feels the need to state such disclaimers after their often already very lengthy thread titles. Those always make me shake my head a bit. I'm guessing it was done on this thread as kind of poking fun at those threads.

She has a full-time job. I don't know how she ever has time to post or read in the forum at all.
this is real question. first post did not get get responses & i needed an answer. since some posts about food questions annoy some people i made a point to say it wansn;t about food. then i got responses.
'rescheduling myself was not possible, still no response from scheduler, tried to call # that she called from but no answer & no vm. got automated overdue email. still at standstill. i never agreed to date she assigned to so not my fault.
Do you have any phone numbers for the MSC? Is it an outside scheduling company or in-house scheduler? Just wondering if there is someone else there that can help you.

i think it was a scheduling co. the woman called me, she gave me a date range, i picked may 11 but she scheduled for may 1. i did not see wrong date until i got home. now nothing from scheuler.
Yeah, I hate scheduling over the phone. Try calling again. I wonder if it's a cell phone and you can send a text? Some people read their texts but don't answer their phones.

i dont think i am funny. not trying to be. bigger things to worry about. scheduler never responded & the shop dropped off system. np. thx to those who tried to help.
I'd e-mail again, tell her the shop is off your shop log, iterate the wrong date conundrum, and ask if it can be scheduled for the date you originally agreed to. Nicely, of course!
