Do U Notice Seasonal Upticks (or Decreases) in Shops and Bonuses?

I've been shopping for less than a year, so I haven't made it through multiple seasons yet, but am curious if there are certain times of the year that seem to have significantly more or less shops available and/or higher/lower bonuses?

And, if so, any idea what the reason for that might be?

There are many threads on this subject, so a search should provide lots of info for you. I would search on "seasonal" for past year.

Sorry. Wasn't aware it'd been discussed a lot already, wm.

I did search "seasonal," but didn't come up with anything other than my own thread (and one other random post regarding seasonal editors). grinning smiley

Much depends on geographic area in which one lives. In my area there haven't been more than a scarce handful of shops in some time and those are the ridiculous $7 convenience stores with covert photos.

I'm guessing you forgot to put in "all dates" when you did your search. I found 10 pages of threads. Try again. Similar things you can search for are "all seasons," "fall," "summer," "winter," and "spring." Try "year end" and "end of quarter." Or "holidays." "Snowbirds." Searching those things should give you plenty to read. And, you will probably get ideas about other searches you can do to find the information you want. There are a lot of things that cause fluctuations in the MS work flow. A lot of it depends on your location.
Holidays, retail event times, beginning of seasons winter, spring summer and fall. End of month, end of quarter. A death or two of a restaurant customer, banks unauthorizedly (yes, that's a word) signing customers up for accounts, new ipo's, sporting event seasons, new menu times, new fed regulations on oil, money markets for consumer accounts; credit cards, money transfer etc. Anything big in the news in retail, travel and qsr.
OP, it's a big discussion not only in our work, but in the entire business world. For starters, the last related discussion I remember was a total disagreement about the timing of the fiscal year. So crazy my post is dated May 20, but here on the West Coast, it's still May 19.
