Conflicting directions...will it be rejected?

I completed a test drive shop. The client's video and questionnaire said that I needed to provide a picture of the business card. If I didn't get a card, I needed to take an exterior photo to prove I was there. I got the card. Once I completed the shop and the report, I was filling out the MSP paperwork and they required both business card photo AND exterior shot. I couldn't complete their form without a photo, so I uploaded the business card photo for the exterior shot. I also emailed the schedule to be proactive about the issue and not give the impression that I was trying to sneak one over on them. I am waiting for a response from the scheduler. What's the likelihood they will reject the shop?

Meanwhile, as I have learned, to my chagrin, it is always best to read they survey form before the shop.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I've done that several times unfortunately. Forget to take that parting picture. I always hop right back in the car and go back and get it. Sometimes 30 miles away. Not happy about it, but it was my bad and it's not worth having the report rejected over a missing picture.

Probably, unless you go back and take the photo.Maybe you'll be lucky and they will accept it. Hope so. Walesmaaven's advice is the best. Always read the survey form before doing the shop.
Yes, hard lesson for me, too. Bang head against wall, apply ice bag to head, drive back to take picture.

Bummer. But it's a pretty common mistake. Just before midnight I realized I forgot an exterior shot and had to drive back to the store to get it. Luckily, it was accepted because some MSCs don't allow you submit a photo that's taken so many hours after a shop. Now I take exterior photos on every shop. It also serves to confirm my start time. Hope it works out for you.
I remember that happening when starting, I wrote an email and since they had the business card, they let it go (this time). Depending on your MSC (mine was Gap), they can forgive it once...they don't want to throw a good report away, it just depends on what the client says. Sometimes Sales people move to different Dealership locations, which could be a problem...next time you'll know, good luck!!

Live consciously....
Yeah, no excuses, I didn't follow the MSC directions. This was my first shop with this MSC and I wasn't used to the format. There is a survey for the client, which clearly said you need to take an exterior photo IF business card was not obtained. There was also a survey for this same shop by the MSC that said "You must ask for a business card and take an exterior photo of the location during your visit." That was my lesson learned, not erring on the side of more is better than less.
Update:
1) I got a response this morning, great response time!
2) They said, "You need to take a photo of business card OR the photo of the dealership. However, what you have done and how professional you were, I don't think this is going to be a problem."
woohoo!

Lesson still learned, but it worked out for me this time smiling smiley
Get in the habit of ALWAYS taking a pic of ANY location just in case..... you never know!
I have a mystery shop that i do regularly that requires both a before and after shop photo. This makes no sense to me as a time stamp isn't required. They also have great big windows in front so when I take the picture before the shop, how can they help but see me take the picture and suspect I'm a mystery shopper? I also have a problem when they want you to take an inside picture of the area where the shop was done. How can you do this and remain anonymous when there are people still there you've interacted with who will probably see you take the picture?

What's done is done. An egg cracked cannot be cured.
There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
When I've had to take a before/after photo, where possible, I just sit in my car and take the before pix through the windshield window. So far no problems. Maybe you can do that.
