Who's ready to sit in the car for 6 hours?

In an effort to not have the ICA police come after me, I won't mention any names.

I got an email about sitting outside of a big box store to watch and record what happens. I'm just wandering who's in.

I'd be willing to do that actually. I dislike lots of moving around for shops. smiling smiley

What is the pay rate?

I did that once, several years ago. After several hours, security people came out and asked me to leave. They escorted me off the property. They said I was "acting suspiciously". Casing the joint, maybe? LOL!!!!

I have never returned to that store. Never will, ever, ever.

Good luck with that one!
Now that I think about it...I hope you can get breaks (bathroom and food)!!! grinning smiley

6 hours is pretty long.

What is the difference between sitting in your car for six hours and walking around the store for six hours. confused smiley

Btw, I would set up my in dash cam to record, while I am in the store.grinning smiley

I was thinking about doing it but I would have to have the car running for A/C This will definitely take up GAS. The suspicious thought came to me also. The pay is $12 an hour.
Let's see... You might need the "GoGo" that has yet to appear as a prototype. If it were ready, you could test this while keeping a store under surveillance and earn more money naturally. Meanwhile, you could do a complete seated workout and a breathing workout. You could combine them. For a six-hour gig, I would do them separately.

It's up to you... grinning smiley

I'd give it a try, you never know what kind of Cettie-adventure I might end up having.

I took two, one 6 hour shift for both days. Never done it before, so we shall see how it goes.
I would think driving around the lot periodically to move spots and be less noticible is in order?
· Shopper will be required to sit in their car and monitor the XXX vending areas located at the local
ZZZ for 6 hours!
· There will be a series of questions that you will answer while monitoring the vending area.
· Shopper pay is $12 an hour total shopper pay is $72.00 for this project!

· You can choose Saturday 27th or Sunday the 28th – or you can do both days!
· NO opportunities to reschedule- please do not accept this shop if you cannot complete!

Seems pretty straight fwd.
Hmmm, I haven't seen that one. I need to sign up for more companies. I don't know if I'd do it for $12 an hour but might at some point.
Sounds painful. While I was pregnant with my twins I was doing 1:1 for 12 hour shifts in a hospital and even though I could move around it still was so boring. Time moved so slowly. I was getting more than $12/hour too.
In this day and age, you would think they would have some surveilance cameras on the premises. Will you be planning on wearing adult diapers if instructed not to leave car during the 6 hours?
I would not but I think I am the odd mystery shopper. I take 95% of mystery shops for fun and sitting in my car would not be fun. I enjoy reimbursement shops (of course with pay is great) for things I would do anyways or things I want to do and will get paid to do it.
We have lottering laws here, you'd have to move your car, our mall moniter;s and has 2 hour parking. I forsee problems with this job. Camera's are all over, too risky for me.

For $72 dollars I could shop two shops which takes about 20 minutes total with short easy reports, with bonuses.
Reminds me of a funny story. Years ago when we lived in the Chicago area, my husband needed a few things in Wal-mart. I waited in the car. The driver's window was open, but I closed the passenger's window because the cold wind was blowing on me. I was cleaning out my wallet, totally engrossed in what I was finding, when someone scared the heck out of me, when he knocked on my window. Security wanted to know what I was doing (cleaning out my wallet), why the window is closed (driver's window is open, so I am getting air but not a draft) and why I was sitting in the car (my husband is shopping and I hate Wal-mart). Then he asked why I had come along then --- at that point, I rolled up the window and told him to stop harassing me. This all was when we were parked there 15 or 20 minutes, so good luck with 6 hours!!
