What's a grocery-to-go?

Did a grocery-to-go shop, interesting, never did anything like that before. I think I would rather pick my own food.
Honny,
Not sure if this is the same experience as oteixeira's, but I did a shop like that. It went like this. I went online and placed my grocery order. The MSC reimbursed up to $40, which included the $4.95 fee the grocery store charges to pick the groceries...so basically $35 in reimbursed food. I had to select from Produce, Dairy, Meat and Sausage Works. Then I could pick whatever else I wanted to come up to the reimbursed amount (or go over, if I wanted to, which I never want to!!). Then I picked a time to go get my groceries through the drive up area. The grocery store would then contact me through text or phone to let me know the order was ready. When I got there, I had to time how long it took for someone to come out, how long it took to get my groceries, if the employee followed the protocol, which included having me pay for my groceries before they loaded them into my car. Then I had to report whether or not any errors occurred in my groceries. The few times I did this, there were a couple of errors, so I hope my reporting helped fix that. In addition to the $40 reimbursement fee, the MSC also paid a $10 Shopper fee for it. I really enjoyed this shop. HOWEVER, the ONLY downside I found is that, depending on when during the month this shop was done, it would take UP TO 10 weeks to get paid/reimbursed. But I haven't seen this on the job board in a couple of months, so maybe this aspect of their grocery mystery shopping is over, since they still have the regular in-store mystery shopping.
