Sizing Audits?

Just ran across this posting...."audit" 5 departments, 125 items in each department. $16 pay.

Holy cow. I couldn't even LOOK at, what, 600+ items in less than what, 2 hours?

Can anybody give me a clue what these are about, what they're like, how much time they take, etc.?

I would appreciate any info, as this shop is literally within walking distance -- which never, EVER happens for me!

You're actually considering it?

I remember doing those for that same exact pay, and they weren't actually that bad. Several years ago. If it's the same shop, I would sort of block off a rack with 125 items, sort of count 10, 10, 10, til I knew where the 125 ended, then just run through seeing how many were out of place. You have to have a way to note your counts for each section, this was before big technology was in my life so I just kept a memo book. Then again to the next rack. You can glance and see if the garment is missized in an instant almost, so it isn't as bad as it sounds. I remember the report being super easy too. I might go look up that company and see if the local one is available anymore.
I just did one of these today! I wait until they have a bonus of $5 or $10 typically. This time I did one with a $10 bonus. It took me about 45 minutes in the store but I also had three kiddos with me! I find that pants/shorts take the longest because they are clipped on the hangar but shirts and shoes are easy! I've done a bunch of these and I think the longest it's taken me is an hour.
These are very easy! It takes me about an hour to do the audit - if I don't stop to admire items of clothing - and about 5 minutes to do the report. I wait until they are bonused also.
Hi,

I was thinking the same thing! 625 items? These shops are cake and steady income! The retail/shopping ..Oss shops are even better and easier.
I just did a couple of these for base pay. They go quick in my area, so I grabbed them. One of the categories was "bras." The shop was pretty easy, but "bras" was a category, and those things were everywhere. Took an hour at each store, but they were my first. I'd do it again, for sure!
They are really very easy. Most of the times the items are within the 7 mis sized area except for shoes and bras, In bras, they were really a mess and it took so much longer, I think about 40 of the 125 were mixed up.
