I love the flexibility. Just now, I am taking a few weeks off from shopping. I am trying to catch up, to some extent, with Mr. Thomas. "My education was the liberty I had to read indiscriminately and all the time, with my eyes hanging out. (Dylan Thomas) I am doing the rest of my education. (Translation: I am reading whatever I want until my eyeballs fall out and/or I need a shop fee.)
My reading education consisted of seemingly endless mandated materials. There was never enough time for the rest of the readable information in the world.
Mind you, I wish someone would pay me by the page, or by the word, for all this reading. Those would be perfect, relevant mystery shops for me. But I will read anyway. I will read all the stuff that I did not have time to read in school because I was forced to read responsible, cultural, classical, technical, other-language, and other mandated stuff. Now, I get to read whatever I want to read. This is too fun. And, I haven't read a shop guideline in days. What a concept!
When I return to shopping, I will do something quick and easy.
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. - Lao-Tzu
