Elevation Burger

Anyone have any experience with these? I've wanted to try them out anyway and there is one .9 miles away with an available shop. I've done other restaurants for this company but for what looks like barely covering reimbursememt it should be VERY easy. Any thoughts?

Ok so I did the shop. As expected the report was very easy, but my total was $.99 more than the pay and I got the cheapest thing possible except for a large drink instead of a small. I mean it's less than $1 but still, they should at least cover the meal!

bgiff, did you have to get the large drink? How was the food?

No but I wanted the large drink. And I wouldn't have minded going over (I often do for Five Guys) if there was a fee, but it was just a straight $13 payment.

The food was significantly better than Five Guys and the report possibly easier.

The report is a little bit complicated for the money they offer. I am picking it up only if I am in the area and day is good for me. It often overlapping between shoppers.

I didn't find it complicated but the comment on every single question got annoying. For no fee my comments basically restated the question. Was your burger hot? Yes. My burger was hot. LOL

I agree I would only pick one of those up if it were convenient. In this instance I needed food, and it was in the parking lot of a store I needed to go to anyway. And I've wanted to try them for quite some time.

There used to be two Elevation Burger locations here but they both closed. I shopped both locations before they closed, and the $13 flat payment didn't leave much left over after the meal., but the report was easy, and, as bgriffin says, annoying with a short comment on every question. I'm betting the prices have increased so I'm not surprised bgriffin had to pay more than $13 for the meal. I thought Elevation Burger was better than Five Guys and it was okay but I wasn't tremendously impressed.
Well they don't sell roffle tacos so I'm not surprised you weren't impressed!

Seriously. I've tried Five Guys, Elevation Burger, and Smashburger and it's the best of the 3 by far to me.

I agree Elevation Burger is better than Five Guys and MUCH better than Smashburger. I tried Smashburger when it moved to the new MSC and would not go back.

Wait until you try bareburger. I have not seen one of their shops since last winter but they are by far my new favorite.
I want a taco.

There was a taco place I'd never heard of right next door. I used to do a 9-10 day route through Houston every quarter though and I got used to the fantastic tacos served out of the tiny little trucks in gas station parking lots by people who spoke no English whatsoever and I'm in Pennsylvania and just didn't think tacos out of a super modern looking restaurant this far away from Mexico could quite compare.

I just did one today because I was in the shopping center and had to eat anyway. I spent $11.29 of my $13 flat fee. Single burger with cheese, fries and a small drink. Food is bland, nothing special. They used to have a cinnamon orange iced tea that was fantastic - now it's just fountain stuff. I rarely pick these up anymore. I did my first Shake Shack shop last week. Now that burger had some flavor.
Shake shack is such a gooood burger, nice and greasy, errrrrr , i meant, juicy. I think 5guys is better than elevation. I find elevation burgers can be made differently each time, whereas 5guys and shake shack are pretty much assembly line. Just my opinion. And i make money with a 5guys shop.
