Anyone use iPhone apps for shopping?

Thanks to all of the great input you all gave me I made the leap and got an iPhone. I am learning it and have discovered there are some useful apps. I was looking at Shop It to assist in shopping just wondering if some of you use it and if you think it is worth the purchase price. I like the touch screen feature to record my timings. Then there are the shopping apps which seem to have mixed reviews. GoSpotCheck seems too new to have any reviews. However, it seems some are complaining in the reviews of a large number of rejected shops using Field Agent. Gig Walk seems okay as far as reviews go. So I decided to put the question out there as to how many of you use apps for your shopping and what are your favorites. I know they all have Pros and Cons so I am interested in your experiences and thoughts. I look forward to reading your responses.

Most of the companies that use the shopmetrics reporting platform have an app you can use to report. I have an android personally but I am sure there is a version for Apple.
I use the Field Agent app and check it regularly. For the most part it is nothing you can make decent money off, but I have done some in town routes and nearby singles for them. Upside is that they pay very quick, and you have a lot of control over when you get paid. They pay three times a week to paypal, which is normally M-W-F, but you have to request the payment in the app. The worst is waiting for an assignment to be approved so you can request the payment, especially if you wanted to request a larger amount.
Mobee- you work for points and then instantly pick a gift certificate to use. I choose the $25 Walmart card. Do about 6 endcap/display pics, answer a few questions on each and submit. You are usually approved the same day and earn bonus points for many different things so it is easy to accumulate 2500 points at 4-5 store visits, which take about 15 minutes each to complete. No report to do and no purchase requirements. Nice app.

Try Shopkicks, you go into a store and scan barcodes of the available products that they show you or get a walk-in bonus for standing at the front door and earn gift certificates to Target or Walmart or Starbucks (many others) quite easily for the $2 or $5 gift certificates, they credit you immediately and you can pick a to use a certificate while you are in line at the store and have the points. Plus they have a lucrative rebate program on the products featured. I've earned probably $150 in instant gift cards for Walmart for just collecting points. You can scan for points while doing mystery shopping in the major stores. Just making your ROI that much better.

Easyshift works well and pay is usually within a week. Only thing is that they give you a range of pay, say $4.00-$8.00, you do the job and then at the end they tell you what you will get paid. My last job I was paid $4.40. There is no way to figure out how much you will get paid until you complete the job.

Gigwalk, I found jobs that only pay $3-$4, so I don't check their app regularly.

Observa, they never have jobs available in my area.

I'm sure there are many more.

and Yes, I had the same experience with Field Agent. Did a ridiculous amount of pics and questions only to be told they didn't receive it and I would not get paid. Well, if you did not receive anything from me then how do you know to email me to tell me you didn't receive anything? Kind of shady to me. I appealed the decision but got nowhere, not even a chance to redo it. Job was removed after I did it. Leads me to believe that they used my report anyway and then did not pay me. ~paranoia maybe~ LOL
Thanks for the information! I expected good responses but am both amazed and appreciative of the detail in your responses. I did understand going into this by what I read online that these are very low paying. However, if they are quick and easy I don't mind the low pay. Every dollar can go into my new iPhone fund or helping out on my monthly cell bill as the money would not be possible without a phone. I justify it that way in my mind anyway. I came here for advise because the phone was given to me by my son and is the lowest gig you can get so storage is a problem. I decided to choose a couple of apps, hopefully the best of the best so I can pick up some extra and easy money while out and about. I can tell right off that FieldAgent is not for me. I take the time to do quality work as I am sure you all do and would be bummed to have that work rejected. Some of you have verified what the online reviews stated about this app not to mention the two hour window from assigned to finished. That is troublesome in my mind as things happen sometimes that causes delays.
EasyShift is also not for me 50 to 80 pictures, all I can say about that is OH MY.
GigWalk still looks like a good bet even though the pay is low. Mobee and Shopkicks is sounding good also. Sounds like quick easy shops and gotta love those Walmart gift cards. I spend so much money there I should own stock. LOL
Does anyone use an app to assist in shopping? I used to record my times by talking into a recorder, quietly of course but ShopIt was suggested to me because it records times by just touching the screen. Of course you do have to remember what each time is associated with. ( time entered, time in line, time at the counter ect.)
Thanks again to all, you are the greatest and I trust your experiences much more than those online reviews!
