Canada shops

I am wondering if there is a way to 'filter' for shops just in Canada? or are there companies looking for Canadian shoppers? I used to be able to do some shopping in Wa and Idaho till I got stopped at the border one time. Apparently if you are paid by a US company you need a work visa. So that day I was refused entry. I have not done any US shops since and I am finding it difficult to get Canadian shops. Any suggestions are so welcome. Thank you

A lot of American companies have shops in Alberta. Market Force, Bare International. Intellishop, BestMark, Sutter, Kern Scheduling is always looking for shoppers for a client in BC. And many of the others on the list at the bottom of the page. I basically signed up with all of them and checked job boards.

Some Canadian Companies/companies with shops in Canada are:
Performalogics
Spotcheckservices
Service Evaluations was Strategic Evaluations
Consumer Connection
Premier Service
SQM - Service Quality Management
Shoppers Confidential
Service Metrics
Frontline Shoppers

Most of the shops I do are handled by MSCs based in US. I started with Canada based MSCs but somehow I am now working more shops with American based MSCs. I usually don't check the boards and keep myself busy with shops sent through my email.

Just keep on signing with more MSCs because as Prince stated, many of them handle shops in Canada. With the exchange rate, it is advantageous especially if the fees are in US$. winking smiley
Do you really need a work visa to be paid by a US company even the shops are in Canada?
The OP said she was stopped at the border when she was going to the US to do shops. I do shops in Canada, am paid in US funds, and don't have a visa

You were only able to cross the border and do shops in WA and Idaho because you had not been caught. It was not legal for you to work in the USA. You can work for an American company in Canada if you have the legal right to work in Canada. If you do not have the legal right to work in the USA, you would need a work permit to perform work in the USA. The border guards correctly refused entry to the US. If a US citizen enters Canada, that US citizen does not have the legal right to work in Canada.
No Fenicia, I was going to do a shop in the US being paid by a company in the US...there fore I needed a work visa. If you work in Canada for a US company (Wal Mart as an example) you do not need a US work visa.
