southpole, not sure what your question is. Since neither the MSC, nor the client has been named, I'll go with the client. McDonald's is no longer shopped, at least not like it once was. This happened many, many months ago. Another MSC shops it occasionally. It's my understanding that their shops are geared toward promotional items, rather than timings and temperatures.

Mod note: Post removed as it breached the Forum guideline which states, "Do not reveal the clients of mystery shopping companies". Additionally, it is usually an ICA violation to name both the MSC and client.

You can mention the client, or the MSC, but not both. My guess is that you are not in the US. In the US this client did not renew their contract a year and a half ago. Since you mentioned the MSC, which I assume will be edited soon, I will say while they were the master contract holder in the US they outsourced those to other MSCs until the last 6 months of the contract. I would assume that as contracts expired in other countries, where they did not seem to outsource the shops as often, those shops disappeared as well.

I recently saw a survey shop for that client. The MSC is the one that does the auto dealerships with no test drive.

They have just stopped appearing on the MSC site that offered their shops in the UK. They were a huge client for them and have to say when they added a bonus they could be quite lucrative for very little effort. So it's a shame the client has stopped being shopped to all intents and purposes.
