New to Video Shopping?

I'm planning to get into video shopping shortly. I'll be buying my own equipment unfortunately, so I am also open to any companies that do not sponsor shoppers with equipment. I know I have signed up with some that asked in the application whether I have equipment. So which companies have video shops, and which ones should I go back to update?

I suggest that you start with Clear Evaluations and The Shadow Agency. Both have good shopper support. And, the schedulers all talk to one another and you can ask them who they think would be best for a newbie video shopper to work with.

ALSO, most of the big video
MSCs will be at the IMSC conference in Las Vegas in November, recruiting shoppers. In the video area, face-to-face networking with video MSC owners and schedulers is very, very helpful! They REALLY like to see how prospective shoppers present themselves, since many of our shops require quite long interactions and may include some complex scenarios. And, they all know that it is the scenarios that trip up far, far more shoppers than any equipment glitch ever has! Conferences also usually include sessions on developing good scenarios that will not get you spotted as a shopper.

I would love to attend the conference, but unfortunately, I cannot afford it.
I just went back and found the following list from a post that I made last year that contained a list from the promo for the 2016 IMSC conference. Not all of the folks on the list do video shops but most do.

This is from the IMSC Facebook page, with permission.

"You have heard of them or worked with them, now meet them in person at the upcoming Las Vegas IMSC conference! These reps are stars in our industry. They are taking the time to meet all of you and help with the educational process as they love our industry as much as we do.
