Texas Roadhouse shop

Question about easy report for TR:

Are they really that easy?

I completed a dinner shop a year or more ago. I recall that the report had many sections with a few questions, then required a narrative to explain the answers.

Am I remembering wrong, or did I make the report more difficult than necessary?

Thanx for opinions.

When I did the dinner shop it required timings for seating and food as well as looking out for the manager. Not too difficult at all.
Mine will be the bar shop. I never really ate at a bar before. I don't want to be obvious.
Could be bar for 1 versus dine in for 2. There are two different shops they run and those are the amounts I've seen.
Yes, I know about the bar requirements. You can bring a guest but need to stay at the bar even if they ask you if you want to be seated.
I need some advice please. I just completed my first TR mystery shop and I'd like some help. First with the name of the host question: I originally thought they wanted the name of the host at the host station so I made sure I got that. Now I'm not so sure. Do they actually want the name of the host who took you to the table? I only have a description of her because she didn't have a name tag on. Second question: The report says they only want details on questions answered no and/or a brief positive statement about the experience. How brief is brief? 1 or 2 sentences? A short paragraph? I want to put in what is needed, but I don't want to get too wordy if they don't want too much detail.

Thanks for any help you can give me with this. I want to do a good job so I can get more in the future.

And pay attention to what the server says and does. TXRH definitely covers the shops with the employees. I had one server challenge my reporting as to what she said and did.
That's why I love bar shops. There is generally video to back up what you said. I did a TR where there was an bartender who was very friendly with a male patron seated at the bar and she was eating off his plate. There was other stuff going wrong, like both bartenders leaving the bar to take smoke breaks at the same time and bar patrons were left unattended, a few of who had empty glasses and were looking around as if they needed something, and I was served a steak with no flatware and the salt and pepper shaker were nowhere nearby (my potato needed it badly). Both female bartenders were busy chatting it up with male guests with their backs turned away from me. No one challenged that report. That being said, generally service at TR is stellar so I was pretty disappointed with that shop.
I did the bar shop once with a bonus. The report was very straightforward and simple.

Not a big fan of the DR shops. Too much to remember for the old lady addled brain. Plus have had a horrible server and management guy to fix stuff. The music is too loud in the dining area to have a conversation, IMPA. That said, I wouldn't turn one down if I could rustle up a dining companion.

The belly up to bar shops rock my world. In my areas, if you plan your route correctly, you can be in and out before 6pm. You can take advantage of the before 6 specials. If you luck out, Wednesdays are the best deal. They will give you sustenance and maybe some leftovers. I love them for my overnight routes. Then again, the belly up to the bar shops might not be what you planned on. I lucked out at one location and the sitters didn't stick around, If the customers had stuck around, I wouldn't have gotten through the shop before 9pm, if ever.

Make sure you use your rewards card that pays on restaurants.

Thanks everybody for your advice. I appreciate it. I hope to get a top rating on this smiling smiley
