Worst scheduler ever...details inside...

I emailed a scheduler to ask about a local shop. She sent an email to me using the wrong name, accusing me of "flaking" on previous shops and a litany of other irrelevant details. I had never shopped with the company in question. Update: the scheduler replied to clarify that this message was sent in error.

Another issue: I was interested in a local shop, and after sending an email inquiry asking about a shop rules, the scheduler literally signed me up for the shop. Note that I did not commit to do this shop! I then got emails from the MSC demanding various things in a frantic manner. All this after I simply asked a question! This is actually the second time this has happened!

I do feel that MSC schedulers and other staff members need to be more respectful toward shoppers. They need to remember that we are people with professions, educations, families and life experiences, and that we deserve to be talked to like valued contractors.

Tracy schedules or has scheduled for quite a few companies if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps you flaked on her somewhere else.

Edited to add, sometimes a scheduler will drop a shop on your board so you have full access to the guidelines. Although the few times I've had that happen they have replied that they were doing that.

My dealings with Tracy have only been for one company. I don't recall any issues. She hasn't always been the most verbose which doesn't really bother me.

This is the same scheduler that I will not ever deal with. She scheduled a shop, I had to leave home at 5 AM to be there on time (100 miles away). Crested a hill 20 miles south of home, and the entire valley was in a white out blizzard. I managed another 10 miles, which took almost an hour, realized I'd never make it, turned around and came home. Called the shop, they said, oh, everybody's going home right now, we're closing because of the blizzard. E-mailed Tracy and told her everything.

Yes, I deserved one. I failed to complete the shop.

Yeah but I am wondering what MSc she is scheduling for, name doesn't sound familiar. Either way, I wouldn't think too much about it. Email back, say you got the wrong name/person, ask if you could help out with any shops, call it a day
I have emails from her in my inbox from tracyzschedules @ gmail plus her name @ RBG and her name @ Bare. Her tagline from the tracyzschedules account says she has been an independent scheduler since 2007. I'm fairly certain I have seen her name attached to several small MSCs as well.

Cease, the shop said they were closing because of blizzard. You couldn't have completed the shop if you slept on their doorstep the night before. Wow. Scheduler was unreasonable.
OP - Very unprofessional response from the scheduler and worse that she won't even admit/apologize. I would not want to work with her in any capacity.
Tracey has a short fuse but is a good scheduler and a nice person. I suggest you contact her and ask that she discuss and/or reconsider. Tracey has been discussed here before for very quickly slapping shoppers with citations: [www.mysteryshopforum.com]
I had a new realtor once do something similar. She sent me an email and addressed me by a different first name. I emailed her back using that name to see what her response would be. Never heard from her again. That is someone who I would want to do business with.

This is a public apology to TracyZ. It was not she who hit me with 30 citations. My error.

Which is really weird, as every time I see her name, I go to myself, "Hey, that's the one that hit me with all those citations because I wouldn't/couldn't complete the shop due to the blizzard".

I hope Tracy accepts my humbly offered and very public apology.
Of course I do! We all make mistakes, obviously. I made the same mistake with the OP smiling smiley

You had a weather emergency! Those sorts of things need to be excused. This is what I mean about MSC staff not treating shoppers like human beings.

My post is also aimed at the fact that often schedulers and other MSC staff do not seem to treat shoppers like people. The MSC community needs to remember that a good shopper is very valuable, and should be treated as such.

In the same vein, the MSC community needs to remember schedulers are representatives of our clients who also should be treated as such. Perhaps a start would be to try resolving an issue before publicly calling one the "worst ever."
